Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and other Civil Rights leaders provided meals to volunteers and staff who were organising Martin Luther King Day events in Atlanta. This was revealed by the Civil Rights leader’s Daughter.
The Duke, 37, and Duchess of Sussex, 40, who live in a $14million mansion in Montecito, California, supported staff at The King Center for Nonviolent Social Change in Atlanta by buying meals from black-owned food trucks who then gave them out to those helping with Monday’s events.

“Your help is so important to us all, we need to register voters and gather items to aid our homeless neighbours.”

Bernice King Jr., Martin Luther King Jr.’s daughter runs The King Center. It celebrates Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and works and organizes events that continue his legacy.
Yesterday’s events included voter registration drives and fundraising projects for Atlanta’s homeless.
Bernice King also shared a message to her Twitter thanking Harry and Meghan writing: ‘I’m so grateful for your graciousness in honoring my father.’

A spokesperson for the centre took to Twitter and thanked Prince Harry and Meghan for their support. Your care is so appreciated by those who are here to educate voters, collect goods for homeless neighbours and register them. Pictures of volunteers were shared as well.
“We’re still shocked.” We love what we do and y’all know we love to feed folks so this was just an all around great day,’ they wrote.

The King Center Commemorative Service’s annual event was also held. Key note speaker, Reverend Michael Bruce Curry, addressed the crowd.
Reverend Curry delivered the sermon for Meghan and Harry’s marriage.
Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a federal holiday in the United States marking the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr.. This holiday is observed every year on the 3rd Monday in January.

This comes as Prince Charles is believed to have invited Prince Harry’s family to visit him in Britain in order for them both the opportunity of meeting Lilibet.
The Prince of Wales will not be able to visit his granddaughter, who was born in California on June 1st last year.
The Mirror reports that this was the first family reunion since Harry and Meghan left their jobs as royals.
His son, however, refused to come back to the Met Police without sufficient security. This is believed to have made it difficult for the two to reunite.
Sources told The paper that the family has been communicating with each other via several ‘good-natured’ phone calls in recent months.
