Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D actor Vachik Mangassarian has died of Covid complications at the age of 78.
His most notable role was that of Qasim Zahlul, in Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Additionally, he was a part of Curb Your Enthusiasm as well as NCIS: Los Angeles.
The star’s agents said he died of Covid complications in Burbank, California.
Mangassarian, who was Armenian-American and was born in Iran in 1973, was born to Armenian parents. He moved to America in 1966 when he was 23 years old.

His first job was as a Los Angeles restaurant waiter. However, he always dreamed of becoming an actor.
The star landed his first Hollywood role aged 35 when he played in 1978 film The South’s Shark.
Before appearing in several TV programs, he was cast as a father for the 2008 Persian-language American movie The Stoning of Soraya M. Starred by American filmmaker legend Jim Caviezel.
Mangassarian was also a part of Curb Your Enthusiasm, NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: Curb Your Enthusiasm. In Burbank, California, he died.
Mangassarian’s old colleagues and admirers took to social media in an act of respect.
It was for his portrayal of a world-famous architect, Qasim Zaghlul, in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D that Mangassarian will best be remembered for.
Following his stint in Marvel, he was offered a guest star role on Curb Your Enthusiasm. He then played his last role for NCIS Los Angeles in 2019.
Mangassarian was an advocate for Armenians and ran a radio station and TV program on politics and art called The Armenian National Network. This show he hosted over a period of 10 years.
His sisters Linda Lalaian, Elda Hacopian are his survivors.
