His aunt kept Prince Jacques, the Prince of Monaco, in line as he pulled faces today at National Day celebrations.
Prince Albert, 63, lead members of the Monegasque royal family at today’s festivities, after confirming earlier this week that his wife Princess Charlene, 43, would not be attending the event.
Instead, Princess Caroline of Hanover, 63, and Princess Stephanie, 56, joined the monarch for the mass and outdoor ceremony at the palace.
They could be seen with Prince Albert’s six-year-old children, Princess Gabriella (six), and Prince Jacques (6). He appeared to be in a very playful mood, and could at times be observed being disciplined his aunt.
Prince Caroline was able to see the little boy pouting and playing with his uniform, blowing raspberries at everyone.

Six-year-old was seen smiling and looking at everyone as he wore miniature uniforms from the military for this occasion, just like he did on previous years.
Last night, Princess Charlene shared an Instagram photo from the “secret location” where she was recovering from a fatigue that is not only physical’. This came after Prince Albert announced she had fled the Principality.
Monaco’s National Day was marked by the Royal with a video featuring the Monaco flag and the National Anthem.
After Albert’s 10-month South African stay, Princess Charlene returned to Monaco in the midst of mystery. She had been there for less than 2 weeks.
‘She is better but she still needs rest and peace,’ he said in an interview in Monaco-Matin, translated from French. “She’s not yet in the Principality, but she will soon be available for us to see her.
“I can’t tell you anything more because of my discretion.” It is not only physical tiredness that can be treated, but also mental.
Yesterday, Albert said their children, Jacques and Gabriella, had ‘suffered from the absence of their mother’ but that he had compensated by stepping up to take a more active role in their lives.

Prince Albert II of Monaco, Princess Stephanie of Monaco and Princess Caroline of Hanover all attended this morning’s thanksgiving mass at Monaco Cathedral.
In a gray coat with tonal shorts and top, Princess Stephanie cut an elegant figure. She also wore a leather glove and a mask.
Princess Caroline, 63 and Princess Stephanie, 56 joined the monarch during the outdoor mass at the palace.
‘For me, it’s pretty simple – my priority is my family,’ the prince said, when asked about juggling the role of being a head of state and a father.
He said, “This is an important time.” [the children’s] life – the way they grow up helps them see the world.
“Also, one parent cannot be absent for any reason other than medical. Many of my acquaintances and friends have told me how they wish that they were there to support their children at an age when they are more involved in their careers or family life. This is not what I would like to regret.
Albert responded to a question about whether the children were’more protected’ in the absence of their mother. However, they had many distractions and were surrounded by family who made sure that they felt loved.

Rumours surrounding his marital status ‘don’t bother him too much,’ the prince said.
The House of Grimaldi had previously confirmed that Charlene would not be attending Monaco’s National Day celebrations, which are one of most significant events on the royal calendar.
Charlene returned to her husband and twins Jacques and Gabriella in Monaco last Monday following a 10-month absence while she recovered from surgery following a sinus infection she contracted during a solo charity trip to her native South Africa earlier this year.

Other guests include Princess Alexandra from Hanover (20), Pierre Casiraghi (32) and his wife Beatrice Borromeo (with their children Stefano (2, and Francesco (11).
The pair will likely be joined by Caroline’s older son Andrea Casiraghi (35), and Tatiana Santo Domingo (35)
Meanwhile Princess Stéphanie of Monaco’s son Louis Ducruet, 26, his wife Marie Chevallier, 26, are also likely to be present.
On November 19, the National Day of Monaco is also celebrated (pictured).
