Matt Damon has finally sold his Pacific Palisades estate for $18million. The Zen-inspired home had been on the market for over a year. 

The original listing for the 13,508-foot property cost $21million in Jan. It was then reduced to $17.9million months later, after slower offers.

Ann Sarnoff, Warner Bros. CEO, snapped the 10-bedroom mansion of the Bourne Identity star almost a decade ago after Luciana Barroso bought the property for $15million.

Matt Damon has sold his Pacific Palisades home for $18 million. The Zen-inspired property had been on the market for over a year. 

In August, Damon sparked controversy for admitting he had just recently stopped using the word ‘f****t’ to describe gay people. 

Damon, who bought the house in 2012 for $15million, listed it for purchase in January. This was after he moved into a penthouse with his family at Brooklyn Heights in New York. 

This LA property measures 13,508sqft and has three floors. It includes seven bedrooms, ten baths, and a spa.

His remarks especially infuriated many because his latest movie, Stillwater, which is based in Amanda Knox’s wrongful murder conviction in Italy, featured a queer character. 

Damon was chosen to play the father of Allison. Allison is a lesbian girl who attempts to prove herself innocent after she’s accused of murdering her French girlfriend.
