Max Verstappen and his girlfriend Kelly Piquet shared an emotional embrace after he won his first F1 world championship at Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.
The racing driver, 24, snatched Lewis Hamilton’s eighth victory after he overtook the Brit on the final lap of a thrilling and controversial Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Max, a Belgian-Dutch athlete, was seen hugging Kelly, 33 year old, and his girlfriend Kelly after getting out of his car. Lewis received a consoling hug, however, from Anthony Hamilton.
After winning his first F1 World Championship in Abu Dhabi, Max Verstappen (24), and Kelly Piquet (33) shared an intimate embrace.
Max could be seen wearing his Red Bull Racing helmet while Kelly donned a casual black hoodie.
Her partner looked stunned as she congratulated her on her success.
Max’s win came after Lewis led the entire race and was in total control after overtaking the Red Bull driver at the first corner, but a controversial safety car gave the Dutchman the opportunity to snatch the title away.

Kelly was delighted as Kelly made her way towards her partner to celebrate his success.
Hamilton seemed to be on his way to eighth title, but Williams’ Nicholas Latifi collided with Haas’ Mick Schumacher in the final five laps.
Initially, the virtual safety car was created. Red Bull and Verstappen took advantage of this to pit and install soft tyres. Hamilton however had to maintain track position and not tread on his hard-wearing tyres.
Race Control called a safety car, which gathered the rest of the field, and almost ended Hamilton’s lead.

Max wins the race. Lewis had taken the lead at the first corner and overtook Red Bull’s driver. But Max took the win after Max led the entire race. The safety car provided the Dutchman with the chance to take the title.
Kelly was Max’s glamorous girlfriend, and it was her who cheered Max on. Kelly is a well-known face on F1 circuit.
Nelson Piquet, a three-time F1 champion, is her daughter. Penelope was born to Daniil Kvyat, whose daughter she has shared a three-year relationship.
Kelly, who is believed to be dating Max Red Bull driver since 2020, regularly posts snaps from her travels around the globe on Instagram.

Lewis missed out on his 8th win: Lewis would have won the United Arab Emirates race if he had prevailed.
Max and Max made public their love on New Year’s Day. They shared a photo of themselves together at a Brazilian beach.

Kelly wrote that Kelly was right: “Love is the only thing that makes the universe go around.” Many love and a happy new year to everyone!

Max is thought to have met Nelson his father in law a month ago when she shared an Instagram story of them, saying: “Finally they meet.”

She spoke earlier about her fear for her boyfriend, who will be taking part in races.
She explained: ‘It’s of course mixed emotions. I’m always super excited to support him but I always am nervous that everything goes well and that he doesn’t get hurt in an accident.
‘The danger is normally not the first thing that comes to my mind but after his two big accidents this year, I’m much more nervous.’
Additionally, she shared her dreams about ‘building an amazing, strong, and happy family.
