McDonald’s employee, 18 years old, is severely injured after Mercedes plowed into him as he was walking out of McDonald’s in Birmingham.

After he had left McDonald’s to take his lunch break, an 18-year old McDonald’s worker was struck by a car.

Unnamed teenager was transported to the hospital following being hurt by speeding. Mercedes-AMG near Birmingham, at approximately 11.40pm.

The emergency services called, and the patient was transported to the hospital.

Police have stated that the driver left the vehicle and ran away from the crime scene.

The injuries aren’t life-threatening.

McDonald’s spokeswoman stated that the company was aware of the incident at Hagley Road, close to the restaurant. They are now supporting police in their investigations.

The police is appealing for anyone with information to come forward, especially if they were there or may have dash cam footage

Police are asking anyone who has information about the incident to contact them, particularly if it was recorded on dashcam footage.

“We reached out to the family members of the injured member of our team and provided our support.

The hit-and run incident has prompted West Midlands Police to appeal for any information.

According to its website, a statement reads: “We have spoken with a lot of witnesses. We are now conducting CCTV and other inquiries to find out who is behind this accident.”

“We are interested in hearing from anyone who was there at that time, and might have footage of the dash cam.
