Mike Tindall revealed that he enjoyed a wonderful day at the joint royal Christening. He prepared his eight-month old son Lucas for the “dunking” by taking him to visit the pool.

Mike Tindall said that it was “lovely” to witness his son Lucas being christened with Princess Eugenie and August Brooksbank at the weekend.
Mike (43), and Zara, his wife, joined Eugenie Brooksbank and Jack Brooksbank, to christen their sons at All Saints Chapel at Windsor’s Royal Lodge. The ceremony took place in front of close family and even the Queen.
Mike spoke on the podcast The Good, the Bad and the Rugby. He said that the christening Sunday was beautiful. It was an amazing day.

Alex Payne asked Mike if Lucas, eight months old, had ever enjoyed the “dunking” and Mike replied that he did. He was very excited to go swimming, so I prepared him. But then, the water started coming out …’.
Three days after Jack Brooksbank died, the service was held.
Eugenie, however, was brave and joined their close family and friends in celebrating the important milestone in their nine month-old son’s life.
After suffering a back injury, there were concerns that the Queen might not be able to attend the double Christening of her Grandsons.
Today, The Queen can be seen arriving at All Saints chapel in Windsor to witness the Royal christening her grandsons.

However, she told courtiers that her intention was to attend this weekend’s christening of their first-born children by Princess Eugenie (31) and Zara Tindall (44) in Windsor.
The elegant Princess Eugenie wore a white silk dress with embroidered details that she paired it with a blue pendant necklace and a statement headband. Jack, her husband, looked smart in his navy suit and crisp white shirt.
Zara Tindall, meanwhile, wore a black outfit with pearl dangling earrings and drove to the venue on a Range Rover. Mike, her smiley husband arrived in an additional vehicle, wearing a smart jacket.

This was only after August Brooksbank’s father, George Brooksbank died days prior to the christening.
Brooksbank’s family paid respect to Etonian (72), in Tuesday’s Daily Telegraph. They wrote that Etonian ‘loved all good things in his life’ and most importantly, his family.
In a touching tribute, he wrote: “Brooksbank George. He died on the 18th of November. He loved all things good in life, but most of all his wife, sons, and daughters-in law, as well as his grandchildren. Details to come. Private cremation for family members.
