A 21-year-old TikTok influencer and beauty queen died in a freak accident after opening her parachute too late on her first solo skydiving jump.
Tanya Pardazi, a philosophy student at Toronto University, failed to release her parachute fast enough while completing the jump with Skydive Toronto in Innisfil, Ontario, Canada on Saturday.
Skydive Toronto stated in a statement that she had “released a rapidly-rotating main parachut at a low elevation without the time and height required for the reserve to inflate,”
“The jumper was a welcome addition to the skydiving world and will be greatly missed by all of the new students.”
Pardazi reached the semi-finals in the Miss Canada 2017 beauty pageant and was instantly taken to the hospital, where she was declared dead.
Pardazi was a certified skydiver after completing a day of ground training.

Melody Ozgoli recalled her friend’s insistence on never being bored.
Ozgoli stated that Tanya enjoyed anything new and exciting. She found life too monotonous and was constantly looking for adventure. She truly lived life to its fullest.
“This shock is very shocking to us. It is very difficult to comprehend. Although it’s only been two days, we don’t know what to make of this.
Pardazi was a popular figure among the crowd and remembered by others as being brave.
Kimia Sepanlou, CTV News Toronto: “Everyone who met with her thought the best of her,” said Kimia.
“Every time we saw her we knew she was up for an adventure. Because she wasn’t one to let herself or her closest friends get bored, it made us feel like we were on an adventure.

Toronto University was her philosophy program. Nearly 100k TikTok users shared her thoughts with her.

Pardazi’s friends recalled her never being bored. Pardazi was never bored, and her friends stated that she always planned an adventure.
Pardazi is well-known among the 100k TikTok users. Pardazi posted many videos about animal science, ancient aliens and art history.
The video she posted last August 22 is about Tetris. She also completed a puzzle with Adderall.
Fans of the influencer were shocked at her sudden death.
A fan said, “Rest In Peace my friend. It was a terrible loss. I wish you an afterlife that is as wonderful and fulfilling as your imagination, till we see again.
A second added: “I can’t believe she left.” Although I have never had the pleasure of meeting her, she is a great inspiration to me.

Pardazi’s passing is shocking to her friends, who still can’t believe it.
Pardazi’s sudden death is more than one month after the final moments of a parachuter in flight, before he died in an accident in southeast Brazil.
Andrius Jamaico, 38, died after falling on the roof of a home in the São Paulo city of Boituva on July 19.
Footage obtained by Brazilian network TV Globo showed Jamaico receiving directions from a skydiving instructor, Paulo Mirkai, as the businessman was preparing to jump out of the airplane with other skydivers.
Jamaico leapt out of the airplane with Mirkai, holding onto his leg and arm sleeves. He also confirmed with the instructor at one point that he was conscious of where the breakaway handle was by touching it.
Jamaico was released by the skydiving instructor who had a camera on his helmet. Jamaico appeared in control and then suddenly started to spin.
Jamaico lost his grip after the instructor tried to grab him by the legs.
Jamaico, who was parachuting for only the third time, spun as his instructor deployed his parachute. Jamaico was quickly nearing the landing area.
He fell approximately 6,500 feet from the sky and slammed into the residence’s zinc roof panel before falling to the ground. At the accident scene, he was declared deceased.
