The moment when a courageous ice cream worker hits an armed robber using a chair. He then tackles him to the floor, and his fellow workers restrain him.
On Sunday 26th December, the attempted robbery took place in Santa Rita’s neighbourhood in Brusque, Brazil.
G1 reports that the suspect entered an ice cream shop with a knife in his hand and tried to steal the cash register.

However, the brave officers resisted the arm-terrorist until they arrived at the police station.
According to the police, it was necessary to stop the crowds because they were trying to execute the suspect. The officer arrived to find that the suspect was quite hurt before officers arrived.
Egidio Ferrari, chief of police said that no officers were hurt in the incident and they won’t be charged with injuring the suspect as they acted in self-defence.
Police added that officers had taken control of the situation and checked CCTV footage to confirm everything.

Employees at ice cream parlors turn the tables and overpower the armed robber

After subduing the attacker by hitting him with a chair from behind, employees begin to wrestle the man to the ground with the help of the cashier.
The video shows the suspect in a motorcycle helmet confronting the cashier. A colleague then gets up and walks slowly behind him.
A worker hits the suspect repeatedly with the chair. His colleague assists in restrainting the criminal.
Before other workers arrive, the first worker wrestles him down to the ground.


Two employees of a ice cream parlour left the attempted robber in serious condition. Police say that they won’t investigate as the attack was self-defense.
It was the fourth attempted robbery that they’d suffered since their opening 4 years ago. The manager of the shop said, “It was scary at the time.” After the incident, we talked about what could have gone wrong.
Following receiving medical treatment on Sunday, the suspect was discharged and taken to jail.
The investigation is still ongoing.
