These are the moments when two little girls, both terrified and in shock, run from the tragic scene of an open-air shooting.

After hearing gunshots, the horrifying video shows one girl, wearing a princess outfit and carrying a toy bear as she sprints for safety.

The pair were playing on Birch Street, in Ashton-under-Lyne, Manchester, when Luke Graham was shot at point blank range in the street by rival gang members.

The father-of-two was ambushed and executed by three men in balaclavas in June 2018 as part of an ongoing drugs turf war.

The 31-year-old, known as ‘Tank’, died in the incident, while Anton Verigotta, who was with him at the time, suffered gunshot wounds.

The killing has resulted in five men being jailed. The National Crime Agency has launched a fresh appeal to get footage from the incident and of two girls who were forced to flee.

The major crime-busting authority yesterday named Callum Halpin, 27, who is is still wanted in connection with Graham’s murder as one of their twelve ‘Most Wanted’.

These 12 men, who are being sought for various offenses including murder and large-scale drug trafficking as well as supplying ammunition and firearms, are thought to be hiding from Spanish authorities.

Verigotta is then chased down by the gunman, but Verigotta, who was under fire, still manages to sprint around corners and finally to safety.

Graham remains inside the van with injuries from the first shot and the gunman abandons him.

The gunman shoots twice more as he approaches and opens the passenger’s side doors. Graham is then seen being fatally injured as he falls out of the passenger’s door.

Three black-clad men can be seen getting in an Audi A4 then speeding off.

Liz Hopkinson (DCI) comments on the video and points out two of the girls running away from the area.

“See these two little girls,” she said. She is wearing a tiny princess gown.

DCI Hopkinson believes the gunman fired at most five shots. Verigotta was grazed and Graham died almost immediately.

According to police, up to 10 individuals from an organised crime network worked together to hide the movement of the shooters.

The suspects believe Halpin is one of the involved.

He stated that fugitives often continue to commit crimes while they’re on the run, and will therefore be well-known in any criminal circle. All they want from their associates is for the UK and Spanish authorities to focus on them.

“Many of these fugitives are trying to blend into the large British communities that have made Spain their home. If you’re a resident of Spain you might know someone from your village or town.  These loyalties can shift over time so we encourage anyone who has information on these men to come forward and help us locate them.
