A mother has been charged with allowing the death of her 15-month-old son, with her boyfriend charged for the toddler’s murder.
The Metropolitan Police announced that Jake Drummond, Louise Lennon, and Jake Drummond will appear before a court of law on Friday to discuss the murder of Jacob Lennon.
In the wee hours of August 27, paramedics responded to a call from a Putney family reporting a child experiencing cardiac arrest.
Jacob was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after. He died of a head injury after a post-mortem exam at Great Ormond Street Hospital 2 days later.

Two men and one woman were held under suspicion for murder. They were both released after posting bail.
Drummond (31 years old) was arrested for murder and Section 18 injury with intent on Thursday.
Lennon (also 31, Ingrave Street Wandsworth) was also charged with neglecting a child as well as causing or allowing her son’s death.
Drummond was remanded in custody to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court. Drummond was released to allow Lennon to accompany him.
