A 16-year old boy was stabbed to death by his mother in London. His devastated mother has now vowed that she will return home to Romania, as the capital is too dangerous.
Ionut Elvis Tacu, known as Elvis, was killed in a park in Yiewsley near Uxbridge, north west London, on the evening of December 30.
In 2021, he was the thirtyth teenage victim of capital murders – the highest death toll since the Second World War.
The 16-year-old suspect was charged with the crime of murder by Ealing Youth Court.
Elvis’s devastated mother Mihaela, who did not want to give her surname, said: ‘I brought him here when he was seven years old to give him a better future; now he will go back to Romania in a coffin.’
Elvis had lived in West Drayton with Mihaela, her husband, and his three-and-a-half year-old brother.
Ionut Elvis Tacu was known as Elvis. He was found dead in Yiewsley in the vicinity of Uxbridge on the night of December 30.
Photographed: On Friday, police were on the scene. A GoFundMe page set up by a family friend to raise funds to take his body back to Romania has raised more nearly £10,000
Mihaela stated that he was a very sweet boy. He wasn’t aggressive.
He said that he had never returned home from being beaten and had experienced nothing comparable. But then he was suddenly killed.
A GoFundMe page set up by a family friend to raise funds to take his body back to Romania has raised more nearly £10,000.
Mihaela shared that her child loved watching movies, music, and playing games with her younger brother.
She said, “If he’d been aggressive as a child or in a gang, perhaps we wouldn’t be so distraught.”
“I want to flee this country with my baby, but I don’t know where to go.
Elvis lived with Mihaela and her three-and-a half-year-old brother in West Drayton.
This double tragedy brought the number of teenagers killed in capital to 30, surpassing the previous record of 29 set in 2008.
On December 31, police activity took place at Philpot’s Farm Open Space near Heather Lane, Yiewsley.
“We were determined to leave London, before he passed away. It is unsafe. This isn’t a good place for children to be raised.
“I will not return here” and encourage families with children to think twice about moving.
They said Elvis was her favorite. While he was a young man, he was first diagnosed with ADHD in Romania. It took until one year later to have him tested in Britain.
Mihaela said that he lived in West Drayton, with my husband and his three-year-old brother.
“Ofcourse his brother doesn’t get why he isn’t with us. It is so heartbreaking. We keep asking him when Elvis will be home.
“I had no idea that anything similar would happen to me. Both of us have our own houses and work. It is clear that we are not part of a dysfunctional family. This is why it’s so hard to comprehend.
He said that he struggled with making friends at school. This has been his struggle since birth. He was in desperate need of help, and no one could provide it.
Claudia Martonfi was the one who created the page. She wrote that the family were devastated. When most people were about to start celebrating the New Year, their world collapsed with the loss of their son.
“The family wants Elvis’ body returned to Romania and interred in the country where he was born.
“The little boy is always asking me about Elvis. It is difficult to tell a toddler about his brother’s death and how he will never be seen again.
