Anti-racism training facilitator at the Cabinet Office ran an “inclusivity workshop” for civil servants. He compared Israel with white supremacy and said he wished death on the ‘Zionists.
Mizanur Rahman, also known as Mizan the Poet oversaw a session of training for public servants called ‘an inclusive Britain’ in 2019. This was despite having previously shared anti-Semitic comments on social networks.
His tweets included “Israel = White supremacy” and he responded to one 2014 post. The following is a story about an Israeli soldier that lost both his hands during a Hamas attack. ‘Hopefully he, and all IDF soldiers and Zionists, will lose more than just their limbs … their lives!!!!’
In another post, Mr Rahman said: ‘#Israel has no right to exist. Israel was established on terror, ethnic cleansing, and practices antisemitism. #palestinians are also #semitic.
Mr Rahman has also tweeted images of inmates at Buchenwald concentration camp next to an image of Palestinians at the Ephraim-Taybeh checkpoint in the West Bank.
Following the Cabinet Office workshop, he wrote: ‘I spoke on institutional racism/ Islamophobia. The role of the media. Prevent, detention centers and other forms racism manifests in our society.
Additionally, Mr Rahman addressed the Ministry of Defence about British Israelis joining #Israel Defence Forces and engaging in human rights violations in Palestine in 2019.

According to a Cabinet Office spokesperson, it is now more careful about inviting speakers.
MailOnline received a statement from the Cabinet Office saying that it had increased its due diligence regarding invited speakers. It also checks social media activity. A request for comments was made to the MoD.
Hezbollah flags were displayed at a Quds Day parade in London that Mr Rahman took part in 2018. One speaker suggested that Israel be “wiped off the map” during the rally.
The Jewish Chronicle reported that Ken Livingstone, former London mayor, resigned as Labour because he claimed Hitler had supported Zionism.
One post, along with Ephraim Taybeh photos, stated that the Zionist government in the Holy Land is supporting the Palestinian population and perpetuating the holocaust.
“After all the victims have been counted, and atrocities recorded, how can the Zionist government be excused for these crimes against humanity?”
Asking Rahman if he believed all Zionists should be killed, he tweeted that ‘The answer is yes. Personally, I want a peaceful settlement to this conflict that recognizes Palestinian rights and treats them equally with their Israeli counterparts.

He filed a formal complaint against Labour earlier in the month after it had banned Rahman from being on its potential list for council seats. Rahman claimed that the decision was made on the basis of ‘institutional Islamophobia’ and anti-Palestinian racist.

2018 was the year that Rahman participated in a Quds Day march to London, where flags were raised for Hezbollah. One of the speakers called on Israel to be removed from the world map during the rally.


Asking Rahman if he believed all Zionists should be killed, he tweeted that ‘The answer is yes. Personally, I would prefer a peaceful resolution to this conflict in which Palestinian rights are upheld and given the same treatment as their Israeli counterparts. After adding that he has ‘nothing against Jewish self determination’, Mr Rahman stated: ‘With that said, various human rights organisations… have stated that Israel is practicing [sic] apartheid… To me, apartheid and settler colonialism have absolutely no right to exist no matter who its done by and who its [sic]It was done.
After Labour had removed Mr Rahman from the list of possible council candidates, Mr Rahman filed a complaint earlier this month.
The decision was said to be based upon ‘institutional racism and anti-Palestinian hatred’.
MailOnline was told by a spokesperson for the Cabinet Office that they have recently implemented heightened due diligence in guest speaker selections, as per cross-government best practices.
