Rittenhouse, who was 17 at the time of the shootings, is charged with first-degree intentional homicide and other counts for killing Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber and wounding Gaige Grosskreutz

Rittenhouse was just 17 years old at the time. He is being charged with the first-degree intentional murder and several other charges for the deaths of Joseph Rosenbaum, Anthony Huber, and the injuries to Gaige Grosskreutz.

They could still be seen at Sussex’s headquarters for the 1st Battalion, 121st Field Artillery. This is known as The Iron Brigade.

Evers called 500 soldiers, more than the initial 125 troops he had deployed to Kenosha during August’s riots.

Evers was a first-term Democrat. He later added 125, but Kenosha (a city with 100,000 inhabitants, fourth in the state) was already ablaze.

Rittenhouse was 17 when he shot and killed Joseph Rosenbaum (36) and Anthony Huber (26), respectively, as well as seriously injuring Gaige Grosskreutz (26).

With his AR-15 assault rifle, the teen traveled from Antioch in Illinois to Kenosha. According to him, he came to provide medical aid to those who were injured during the disturbances and protect their property from potential rioters.

The soldiers will need to travel for just under an hour from Kenosha to make the deployment decisions.

Residents of the lakeside town are on alert again, fearing for their safety when Rittenhouse’s verdict is delivered by the jury. Residents fear that Rittenhouse will be found guilty of all or part of his charges.

Tensions rose outside the court in Kenosha on Wednesday afternoon when a young man wearing a F**k Kyle T-shirt, Bart Simpson backpack, and Chicago Bulls beanie was arrested after scuffling with prominent Rittenhouse supporter Emily Cahill.

After exchanging insults, the man began throwing a sign towards Cahill. The sign was thrown back by him and other anti-Rittenhouse protestors. He then punched one reporter in his jaw as he was being taken off Cahill.

Other protestors tried unsuccessfully to lead the man away and calm him down, but he then went on to strike several other people — including a DailyMail.com photographer — before being pinned to the ground and hauled away in a paddywagon.

He could be heard calling out to his mom while the car was being driven away.

As both sides waited to hear the verdict, supporters had been eating pizza together.

Wearing a Black Lives Matter jacket, one activist posed with a megaphone and urged his fellow protestors to do the same. He chanted: “If Kenosha don’t get it. Shut it down.”

He then began chanting: ‘Seven shots in the back’ — a reference to Blake’s shooting.

After a two-week long trial, Rittenhouse’s jury began deliberations Tuesday.

Evers pleaded with outsiders not to travel to Kenosha until the verdict was handed down, or to protest peacefully. “I appeal to people from other places to reconsider their plans to travel to Kenosha and to encourage others who would like to peacefully and safely exercise their First Amendment rights,’ Evers said.

Kenosha Police Department (and Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department) said that they will monitor the trial, as well as working with federal and local authorities in order to protect our communities.

According to the agencies, “We acknowledge that there are many opinions and feelings around the trial that could be concerning.”

You could still hear them chanting inside the courthouse.

Among them were Mark and Patricia McCloskey — the Missouri couple who hit the headlines when they stood outside their St Louis mansion armed with guns as Black Lives Matter protesters passed last summer. The Missouri Republican Governor Mike Parson pardoned them after they pleaded guilty misdemeanor gun offenses.

Mark McCloskey, a Missouri Republican, is running to run for U.S. Senate. As a Republican sitting, Senator Roy Blunt will retire at the end of next year.

Fox News’ Mark McCloskey said Monday that he felt for Rittenhouse. We feel that he was acting in self-defense.

“We feel he was politically charged, just like we did, so we hope that the jury will not find him guilty and that he can return home as a free man.

“Rittenhouse” is a young man.

“He did his best to serve his country, to save Kenosha businesses, but as his reward, his entire life is at stake.”
