Veteran Neighbours star Jackie Woodburne has delivered the performance of a lifetime after she was given the honour of filming the soap’s final scene on Friday.
As the 37-year old series ends, the actress Susan Kennedy, now 66, will talk about friendship and family.
According to The Sun Jackie will keep a record of Ramsay Street’s highs and lowest points before sending a warm message to her ‘good neighbors’.

According to a source, Jackie was “very much considered the soap’s Matriarch,” the publication reported.
“It was right for her to speak the final words.”
She delivers the best performance of all time.

Neighbours was axed after the UK’s Channel 5 decided in March not to renew its contract with production company Fremantle to finance and broadcast the series.
Jackie was captured chatting with the crew before driving away after filming a short scene.
Neighbours announced in March that production would cease on the long-running soap due to lack of financial backing.
