McDowell was eventually brought down by the officer who said that he had to use his Taser.
After a brief foot chase, the defendant was placed under arrest and a Taser was used. The violent attack caused me immediate damage to my temple and eye socket. My eye was almost closed due to extreme pain and swelling. My head was also affected by the strike.
McDowell was present in court Tuesday, and the judge found probable cause to bring him up.
A prosecutor stated that McDowell was naked when he entered the Learning Center property during his arraignment.

A Browns spokesperson stated Tuesday that they were aware of Malik McDowell’s arrest and incident. He added, “We are working to gather more information.” “We are aware of the seriousness of the matter, and we send our best wishes for all those involved. At this point, we will not be commenting.
McDowell has not had a run-in with law before.
McDowell, a former Michigan State standout, pleaded guilty in 2019 to resisting arrest and assault. He also admitted operating a motor vehicle while under the influence.
