Two days ago, the baby was left in Thailand’s remote forests. The infant girl had been abandoned by her mother.

When rubber tree villagers noticed the infant in Krabi, they found that she had both grazes or bruises on her face and insects on her skin.

The woman was naked and lying on the banana leaf covered ground, with no clothing.

Villagers rescued the baby, and as soon as she opened her eyes, she began to cry. The child was then laid on the ground in wait for an ambulance and police.

Paramedics arrived on the scene to help the baby. Locals didn’t want her to be carried back more than one hour to their village.

After being wrapped in blue cotton blankets, the little girl was taken to an ambulance and placed on a stretcher. She was then driven to hospital for treatment of dehydration.

Although she was kept in observation, her health is good and it’s not likely that she will have long-term problems.

Amazingly, the animal survived despite being found in an area that is known for dangerous animals like cobras or pythons. There are also high temperatures up to 35C during daytime.

According to police, they’re looking for her mother. However, there aren’t any CCTV cameras so it’s difficult to trace the footsteps of the individual.

Prasit Yodthong, police colonel, stated that the baby girl had many insects and worms crawling all over her body. It was not known if any women gave birth in the area, according to hospital records.

It is possible that the mother was not at home when the baby was born and then abandoned him in the middle.

‘We are currently tracking down the newborn’s mother. Her mother will be charged. We believe that the baby may have been killed and that anyone who left her knew.

“We suspect that the baby has been outside at least for 2 days. It was a long night and she made it through.

“Officers have been interviewing village residents to see if they can find any pregnant women in the area.

For health monitoring, the baby was sent to Khao Phanom. After she’s fully recovered, the baby will be brought to Krabi Provincial Administration.

According to police, it’s likely she will be placed in the government system for orphans.
