A teacher accused of having been a paedophile and who destroyed Nicky Campbell’s childhood, is said to be living a happy life in South Africa’s gated community.
According to The Times, the victim, who is 82 years old, lives in Cape Town’s coastal communities surrounded by security guards and electric fencing.
Former teacher, known as Edgar, taught at Edinburgh Academy (formerly Fettes College).
Nicky Campbell (61), a Radio 5 host, stated last week that he witnessed the teacher assaulting another classmate in their 10th year.
Last week, the TV and radio host revealed that he witnessed and suffered ‘horrific abuse’ as a child.
Nicky Campbell talked last week for the first times about the brutal and sexual abuse she witnessed as a child at a private Scottish school in the 1970s.
Numerous other students from the 70s accused Edgar of abuse. They claim that they’ve suffered from traumatic flashbacks and depression as a result of the abuse.
The alleged paedophile, on the other hand, is living in luxury with his private swimming pool and sports club, as well as 24-hour medical care.
Campbell claimed that the victim should be tried in Britain.
He claimed that “He is clearly fit enough be extradited to be questioned.”
“That needs to be done now.”
He claims that the teacher at Edinburgh Academy knew about the abuse because it was so widespread and well-known among pupils.

Campbell stated that Campbell was also sent for psychiatric treatment.
“If you add up his 30 years of experience with boys he had to abuse and then extrapolate the numbers, it’s going to be 100s.
Naga Munchetty asked him why it hadn’t been discussed on TV. He replied: “I don’t understand why.” It could have been to protect our parents. Or maybe it was because it was so widespread that we believed it was acceptable.
The Times claimed that it had sent journalists to the gated community of the paedophile, but Edward ordered security guards not to allow them in.
The wife of the man accused asked him to answer his questions about the accusations. Not at all.’
Scottish Child Abuse Inspectorate heard evidence about the allegations of abuse by Edgar, who was a teacher.
According to reports, Edinburgh Academy’s paedophile teacher molested hundreds of boys in its school (pictured), during the 1970s.
The alleged victim of abuse, Edgar (pictured), is said to have lived in Cape Town in a gated community.
Judge Lady Smith, who was chair of the inquiry, stopped any names from being given to the teacher or other accused abusers not convicted.
It was stated that he abused plain sight in front his class, as well as, according to some accounts, half of the class of twenty.
‘Evidence suggests that he took advantage and engineered abuse whenever and wherever the mood took him.’
Fettes College made a ‘full and unreserved apology’ to abuse victims and paid £400,000 last year to a former student who was allegedly physically and sexually abused.
While the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service didn’t comment on the Times article, they stated that there was an active case against Edgar.
