Mr Morgan stated final evening: ‘Individuals suppose it is completely OK to make demise threats to public figures on social media but it surely’s not — there must be a line drawn, particularly when relations are focused.

‘That is why I reported it and I’m grateful to the Met Police and Higher Manchester Police for taking it so severely.’
