After emerging from Lake Superior, this is how an otter looks as if he or she is having a great time in the fresh snow.
Jennifer Starbright shot the video of this playful animal in Grand Marais Minnesota, on November 27th.
Starbright started filming, and more snow fell. The otter responded with jumping up and falling.

Before a new frenzy began, the northern river otter appeared excited at the sight of snow-covered ground.
The otter then happily dragged its paws across the snow.
Starbright claimed that Ms Starbright watched as the animal came up to the Great Lakes.
She said she also saw the creature’swimming into Lake Superior just for a couple of minutes before it arrived on land.
“I thought the otter enjoyed the fresh snow.
“It was one the first snows in Grand Marais, this year.”

In a frenetic fashion, the otter started to drag its feet through the snow and began to play.

Starbright claimed that Ms Starbright had witnessed the otter in its natural habitat before it arrived on the Land.
To the delight of all who saw it, the video was uploaded to Facebook.
One commented: ‘Wait…is the otter doing the moonwalk? It was a wild spectacle, in reference to the backwards-dragging the mammal did.
One said, “What a great neighbor!” You are so lucky! I’m jealous’.
River Otters are fond of playing in snow. They love the way the slippery conditions allow them to slide along their stomachs.
Their fur is extremely warm and they thrive in cold weather.
Grand Marais, where the mercury dropped to -7C on Nov 27th, saw snowfall for the majority of the day. The otter could be seen basking in the cold conditions.
Lake Superior lies the northernmost of all the Great Lakes. It runs through Ontario, Canada to the north and Minnesota to the west.
The largest freshwater source in the world by area is located on 31700 sq miles (82,103 km2). It holds approximately 10% of the global fresh water supply.
