Although I take no offence, they made me a bit surprised to have chosen a Latina actress to play Snow White. You’re still telling the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,’ Dinklage began.

‘Take a step back and look at what you’re doing there. Dinklage said, “It doesn’t make sense to me.”

‘You’re progressive in one way and you’re still making that f***ing backwards story about seven dwarfs living in a cave together, what the f*** are you doing man?’ He continued.

Taken aback: 'Literally no offence to anyone, but I was a little taken aback when they were very proud to cast a Latina actress as Snow White. You¿re still telling the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,' Dinklage began

The animated movie was inspired by a fairytale from The Brothers Grimm in 1812. However, the original animation featured dwarfs who lived in a cottage and not in caves.

It was also criticized for depicting dwarfs of lower intelligence, and Snow White as seeing them as children.

“Have you done anything to help the cause beyond my soapbox? I guess I’m not loud enough,’ Dinklage said.

Children: The story has also been criticized as being ableist for portraying the dwarfs with lesser intelligence and Snow White seeing them as children
