A couple who were stabbed to death inside the £250,000 house have been named by police.
Officers called in to report concerns about their safety, on Saturday afternoon, found Tricia Livingsey, aged 57, as well as Anthony Tipping at 60 dead.
Police said that both of them died from multiple stabbing wounds after post-mortem examinations.
The mental health act has allowed a man aged 35 who was suspected of killing his wife to be detained.

At 1:40 p.m. on Saturday, officers were summoned to Cann Bridge Street.
At 1.40 pm on Saturday, officers were dispatched to the Cann Bridge Street house in Higher Walton.
Officers made a grim discovery when they forced their way inside the house.
The force spokesmen said that a local 35-year-old man was detained by the Mental Health Act.
The family members of the victims are now being informed of all developments, and they have been assisted by liaison officers. They are in our thoughts.
On Saturday, a 35-year old local man was taken into custody on suspicion that he had committed double murders.
Now, for mental health treatment purposes, the arrested man is being held under the Mental Health Act
The scene was occupied by police officers from Cann Bridge Street in Higher Walton. This is where the bodies were found.
“A dedicated team detectives continues to conduct enquiries.”
Pauline Stables was the chief investigator for detectives. She said, “First and foremost, my thoughts and prayers are with Tricia’s and Anthony’s families and friends.
“I am sorry for their death and the way they died. It must have been an awful shock to all of us who had known them.”
