Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a Barcelona forward. In the Spanish city, he was the victim of an armed robbery. The robbers broke into his house and beat him.
El Pais report that at least four men climbed into his garden at the complex in Castelldefels and threatened him with firearms and iron bars – and the crooks escaped with jewels after gaining access to the player’s safe.
Aubameyang – who joined the club from Arsenal in January – was assaulted by the men in front of his wife Alysha Behague, the report claims, with the criminals escaping in a white Audi A3.
Behague has known the 33-year-old for over ten years since they met while the players were at AC Milan. Curtys (11 years) and Pierre (6 years), are their children. We don’t know if they were present at their home when the burglary occurred.
This incident occurs as Aubameyang, who was reportedly interested in a return to Premier League football after being approached by Chelsea.
It is not the first time Barcelona players have been victim of robberies and theft, with Aubameyang’s team-mate Robert Lewandowski having his £59,000 stolen outside the club’s training ground.
Lewandowski, 33 years old, was seen greeting fans before he began a training session for Barca.

According to reports, the thief opened Lewandowski’s car and took the watch while the Polish diplomat signed autographs. Then, he tried to flee the scene.
Lewandowski was quickly detained by police and received his watch before he participated in the practice sessions for Sunday’s La Liga game at Real Sociedad.

The break-in reportedly involved the theft of money, expensive jewellery, and watches by some members of the family that the teenager was living with.
Family members raised concerns when they heard ‘noises upstairs’ around 10 p.m., where it was alleged that assailants gained entry to the home.
The concerned family made an 112 call. However, when the police arrived on the scene they discovered no one upstairs. This led to suspicion that the people who were in the house had fled.
Fati (19 years old) made Monday’s trip to Sant Cugat Mossos Police Station. He described what happened during the robbery, according La Vanguardia.
