Cristiano Ronaldo does have some conscience about scoring goals against opposing teams. It was discovered after the legendary footballer sent Piers Morgan a message to express his regret for having hit a brace against Arsenal.
United pulled off a remarkable 3-2 win against the Gunners in early December. Ronaldo was the one to score twice, securing all three points.
Morgan made a connection with Ronaldo during an interview he did with him for his Life Stories series, and decided to contact the Portuguese star before the fixture.

United won 3-2. ‘Sorry,’ Cristiano texted back after the final whistle.
‘I would have accepted the apology if it hadn’t also contained a laughing emoji.’
Ronaldo scored twice on Saturday night, marking his 800th career goal and his 801st. He also raised his profile upon his return to Premier League.
Arsenal are now on the right track, currently sitting sixth on the Premier League table with 26 points. This is two short of London’s rivals West Ham currently in fourth place.
