Police have reportedly arrested three people over the deaths of model Christy Giles and her Mexican designer friend, while their families claim they were drugged against their will during a night out.

Giles, 24, and Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola, 26, went to a warehouse party in East Los Angeles in the early hours of November 13 and left with a group of men, going to an apartment near Beverley Hills with them.

Their bodies were then dumped in separate hospitals 12 hours later. Cabrales Arzola, who was in critical condition at the time, was declared brain dead.

Cabrales Arzola, interior designer, was removed from life support just one day prior to her 28th birthday.

Now, LA model Giles’s husband Jan Cilliers has claimed that three people were arrested in connection with the deaths, ABC7 reported.

Police have reportedly arrested three people over the deaths of Christy Giles, 24, and Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola, 26 (both pictured)

According to police, three suspects were detained in connection with the deaths of Christy Giles (24) and Hilda Marcela Cabrales Arzola (26) (both photos).

MailOnline reached out to the LAPD in an effort to get their comment.

Reports indicate that the victims’ families and friends, Giles and Cabrales Arzola, suspect foul play.

Cabrales – Arzola’s toxicology reports found that heroin was present in Giles’s system. Giles’s cause was also referred to toxicology following an autopsy. Both reports are still not available.

But their families claim the women would not have taken the drug willingly, alleging they were drugged against their will in an apartment in the Pico-Robertson area after visiting a West Hollywood club.

The text messages between Christy and Hilda showed that Christy had sent Hilda a message at 5:30am while they were in the apartment. It read: “Let’s Go.”

Hilda replied: ‘Yes. Hilda replied: “Yes, I will call Uber” – but the two weren’t picked up.

This is after the person who saw the two women last described four people and one woman entering a VIP club area and targeting women.

Cabrales and Arzola, friends and relatives of Giles and her sister Misty (pictured left), reportedly believe foul play in the deaths.

DailyMail.com was able to speak exclusively with a woman who went along with the couple to the party and shared her story about how it turned from carefree to dangerous.

She left her cousin and the friend who had remained sober all night with them about one hour after they arrived. Her two best friends would never see her again.

“They went from Soho House into the event, and I met them up.” She said that we entered the event together at 1 AM.

“I was hoping that it would be a group with friends who like the same music and go out to an event hosted by great DJs to have a good time, then maybe end up at one our place later.

“Then, they appeared.”

According to a friend, she saw four men and one women at the party who ‘didn’t seem like they belong’.

‘One man and the woman seemed to be a couple – they were kissing. All of them were in their 40s. They just didn’t seem cool. The two most outspoken of the group seemed to be overly loud, while others seemed shy.

“They were actually able to get to the restricted area staff where they were lacking proper bracelets. We later found out they had revealed to multiple attendees that they were working for an artist that was performing at the same event. It’s all a lie.

Giles

Giles's husband Jan Cilliers told DailyMail.com the two women left the party with the men they met to head to an afterparty but apparently never made it

Giles and Cabrales were seen dancing at a warehouse party in photographs and video taken the night before they left the hospital. DailyMail.com’s friend said that they were targeted by four men and one woman who were “crazed” about the young women.

While both Giles (left) and Cabrales (right) were found with heroin in their systems, their family and friends insist the women never would have willingly taken the drug

Both Cabrales and Giles were both found to have heroin in their system, but their families and friends claim that the women would never have taken the drug.

Giles husband Jan Cilliers, who was in San Francisco at the time, says he awoke in the morning to check his wife's location on his phone and saw she was somewhere he didn't recognize

Jan Cilliers was with Giles’ husband, Jan Cilliers. He was visiting San Francisco that day and said he woke up in the morning to look at his wife’s location from his smartphone. But he couldn’t find her.

“I tried to speak to everyone at the event. Like who knew these men? They didn’t even know anyone, so that ended up being a dead end.

They walked in feeling very confident. People are easily seduced by this confidence.

“They were able wriggle into this area for about thirty minutes, until they realized they did not have the correct wrist bands. Someone kicked them out. By that time, however, they had left.

“If they were only in regular GA [general admission]I think they were just here to have fun. They were also in the staff section so I was thinking that maybe they knew the owner of the venue.

A friend claimed that two men acting crazy were the culprits.

“Their energy wasn’t right. People in the industry are usually very chilled and respectful. These men, however, were rude. These men took off their shirts, and they began to flail around as though on speed. “There was a certain energy that seemed crazy,” she stated.

One of them was carrying a DSLR and pulled it out so he could start filming. The man seemed extremely sober. He seemed very sober.

“Now, I believe it was a trick maybe, or even a prop to do what they do.

The friend said at one point she saw one of the men – whose apartment the two girls would later end up in – had taken off his jacket and put it on Hilda.

“I touched her head on the forehead when I noticed that. She made a frown and asked me why. I made a face and asked her why. She looked bored, then shrugged. The friend explained that there had been no romantic or sexual interest.

‘I tapped [Hilda] on the head when I saw that. I made a face and I mouthed to her “Why?” And she just looked very bored and shrugged. So there was no sexual or romantic interest,’ the friend said

I tapped [Hilda]When I first saw it, I shook my head. Then I made a face, and asked her why. The friend said nothing and I smiled. But she looked extremely bored. The friend explained that there had been no romantic or sexual interest.

According to the friend, the first woman approached her in the group was the female. She complimented her clothes and made conversation before the other men spoke.

The friend shuddered when she said that she had shook hands only with two of them. She also mentioned how they joked about the behavior of their crazy male friend.

“I actually asked one the guys, like, Are your responsible for this man?’ One of the men replied, “Well, yes, you know.” They were certainly a group.

She stated that she was soon back.

“I did not stay long after they arrived. It had been a small group, with half the people seeming fine and half looking crazy. She said that she was not sure if it was a good or bad crazy.

When neither the girl nor her friend responded to texts on Saturday afternoon, Hilda did not show up at a concert for which she had purchased tickets. This alarm set off alarm.

The text messages between Christy and Hilda showed that Christy had sent Hilda a message at 5:30am while they were still at their apartment. It read: “Let’s go.” Hilda replied: ‘Yes. Hilda replied: “Yes, I will call Uber” – but the two weren’t picked up.

Hilda shared her mobile phone’s location with the friend. She was able see it pinging in West Hollywood at an apartment she did not recognize. Hilda said that she assumed Hilda had been at a friend’s house.

Christy realized something was wrong when Jan Cilliers’ husband, Christy, texted her to let him know that Christy was in the ER.

“Five minutes prior to my arrival at the hospital, he informed me that Christy had died,” she stated.

‘When I got there it just was the police. I was not permitted to enter. It was hard for me to breathe. “She’s alone there. Please, just let me see her. Let her know she’s not the only one.”

“But laws will be laws so I couldn’t enter. We have not been able yet to meet Christie. Jan has not been able to see Christie yet, which is extremely heartbreaking.

A friend claimed that Hilda showed Hilda Hilda her cell phone’s location, which was still at the West Hollywood apartment.

She was on the phone with friends, trying to find out what had happened, when she got a call from another hospital. They told her Hilda was present and needed to have a relative to make a medical decision.

DailyMail.com: Hilda and Christy died, leaving the friend in a state of comatose.

“These girls are my best friends in LA. I felt at home in LA because of them. She said that she lost them both at once. It’s confusing to me that I have to be grieving two people at once.

According to a friend, Hilda is an ambitious Mexican student in architecture who recently graduated from cum laude. She also has her dream job of being an interior designer for LA Real Estate.

She had hopes and dreams. She didn’t want stay put,’ the friend explained. “She was looking to leave her comfort zone.

She posted several Instagram pictures of her arrival in LA. In Spanish she said, “Mom, it seems I am very close to my dreams.”

“She has been very happy for the last few months she was here.

A friend shared the belief that both Christy (and Hilda) had a positive-go-lucky magneticism.

She was funny, and would be very charming. Everybody who had the opportunity to meet her fell in love with her. “She was very similar to Christy,” she stated.

“They were different people. They shared one thing in common: they were both full of love.
