After a victim was brutally attacked and killed in a Birmingham road during rush hour, police launched an investigation into the murder.
At 5.30pm, emergency personnel raced to the Small Heath neighborhood of the city in search of an alleged stabbing.
According to police, a man in his 20s was found with a severe heart attack and had been stabbed.
While bystanders attempted to save him, they were unable to do so quickly and he was declared deceased on the spot.

At 5.30 PM, Emergency Services responded to reports of a stabbing attack in Birmingham’s Small Heath. There they discovered a man suffering from cardiac arrest.
West Midlands Police are now conducting a murder investigation to identify the attacker.
Force CID Detective Superintendent Wendy Bailey said that a major investigation was underway in an attempt to identify the responsible. Many officers were present at the scene to confirm the facts.

Tonight, locals who lived near the scene of the stabbing incident spoke about their surprise at the attack.
“I have never seen anything like it before.” While there were some stabbings, none of these incidents are as severe. BirminghamLive spoke to one individual who described the scene as “terrible.”
Another added: ‘Every time to hear something like this it’s so horrible, but it’s happening way too often.’
