Police issue urgent appeal for help in finding 12-year-old boy that went missing over night while he was sleeping under-zero temperatures

  • Moziah, a 12-year-old boy who has been missing since March 2012, is being sought by police.  
  • Yesterday evening, he was last seen in Birmingham’s Handsworth neighborhood.
  • Moziah was described as being 4ft 9in tall with a slim build, and having short black hair. 










Police launched an immediate appeal for help to locate a 12-year old boy that went missing last night in subzero temperatures.

Moziah, 12, was last seen yesterday evening at his home in Handsworth, Birmingham and has been described as around 4ft 9in tall and of slim build.  

Short black hair, the schoolboy was last seen in black and white Nike Air Force trainers.

Moziah (pictured), 12, was last seen in his Handsworth home yesterday evening. His height is approximately 4ft 9in and his build is slim.

Birmingham Police published the appeal on Twitter on November 28, at 4 PM.

Then they said, “Have you ever seen Moziah?” He has been missing since his house in Birmingham’s Handsworth. 

At 4ft 9in, the 12-year-old stands about 5ft 9in tall. He has a slim build and short black hair. His last sighting was in black with white Nike Air Force trainers.

The Met Office has issued amber warnings – in which lives are at risk – both for England and northeast Scotland. 

Temperatures in the UK at this time of year usually average a daily high of 10C and a low of 4C, but plummeted across the UK, and reached below freezing overnight in Birmingham.
