An agent from the Federal Highway Police (PRF) performed Heimlich Manoeuvre to save a diner who had been choking on the table of a restaurant.
The 38-year old man is seen in a video holding on to his head and appearing sick while he eats alone.
Customers near him at the diner in Graal Petropen, in the municipality of Pariquera-Açu, in São Paulo, Brazil immediately rushed over to call for help and sit him up.

Nerve-wrecking video shows an employee of the restaurant trying the move multiple times while others help lift the man up, just before the agent arrives to assist.
The man was on his way from from Curitiba, Paraná, to São Paulo, by bus, which had stopped over for passengers to eat last Friday on November 26.
One restaurant worker can be seen approaching the man sitting behind and performing the Heimlich Manoeuvre, hugging him from the back.

This 38-year old man was alone while he ate. He can be seen looking unwell, holding on to his head, and then slumping over at the table.
The man falls unconscious and people around him at the next table jump to their aid.
Many others are willing to assist, including two PRF Agents.
G1 reports that the officers saw the situation and heard the cries of helpers.
After he has helped the man to his feet, one of the agents arrives on the scene and completes the lifesaving maneuver.
He was taken to a hospital where he was treated and then was admitted to a recovery room. Local reports say that he was eventually assessed by an ambulance.
