Today, Prince Andrew rode around Windsor Castle with Ghislaine Maxwell as Ghislaine is due to stand trial for sex trafficking in just one week.

The Duke of York arrived at the estate after yesterday attending the baptism of his first grandchild August – Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s first child, born in February.

Andrew was pictured riding on a Windsor Castle horse and driving his Range Rover today. Just days before his friend Ghislaine Maxill’s six week trial in federal court, New York for alleged abuse and procurement of young girls as well as trafficking offenses dating back to decades.

If she is convicted of all charges, she will spend more than 80 years behind bars.

It is believed that the Duke of York’s name will be mentioned during the trial, and he already faces a civil lawsuit brought by Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre – who claims she was forced to have sex with Andrew on three occasions, an accusation he vehemently denies.

A lawyer had earlier this month told the Mail On Sunday that the Prince will be ‘dreading’ the upcoming trial, saying that it would be ‘inconceivable’ for his name not to be mentioned in Maxwell’s trial.

Reports reveal that prosecutors will say Maxwell, 59, had three ‘accomplices’ – Epstein and the two unidentified women who supposedly received big salaries and perks.

She asked that the ‘co-conspirators’ were named by prosecutors to prevent her from being ambushed at her trial, the Telegraph reported.

“It seems strange that Maxwell is the only person in the dock,” one victim claimed. “There were many others involved in the abuse which makes it seem that only Maxwell was responsible.”

‘(The ”co-conspirators” were) intimately involved in the scheme to lure young girls to Epstein’s mansion,’ said a lawyer representing another of the victims.

Maxwell's legal team has repeatedly made claims about her alleged mistreatment behind bars. She is shown in prison earlier this year with 'a black eye'

Maxwell has been repeatedly criticized by Maxwell’s legal team for her mistreatment behind bars. Maxwell is seen in prison with “a black eye” earlier this year.

Maxwell is facing a six-week trial in New York’s federal court.

The lawyer for Epstein will argue that she is being penalized by proxy because someone has to pay.

She allegedly “facilitated and contributed” to Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse of her children between 1994-2004.

Maxwell claimed that she sexually assaulted her at 14-years old.

The indictment lists four women, including one British woman, although Annie Farmer, an American, has recused herself from anonymity.

Farmer says Maxwell pretended to be a big sister before she molesting Maxwell at Epstein’s ranch in New Mexico in 1996. Maxwell, she said, was a sexual predator and has shown no remorse.

Maxwell denied all charges

Virginia Roberts, Prince Andrew’s accuser is likely to be present at the trial. She may also give evidence. She described Maxwell’s accuser Virginia Roberts as “pure evil”, saying that Epstein was a sick paedophile, but Maxwell was his mastermind.

Another victim claimed: “We thought she…” [Maxwell]Mary Poppins, because she seemed like our friend and spoke in an English accent.

“But she was a beast in designer clothing. We were lured in by her. She understood exactly what was happening. “I hope she goes to hell.”

The Duke of York faces a US lawsuit from Virginia Roberts Giuffre who claims she was forced to have sex with Andrew. The Duke of York has consistently denied all sexual allegations made against him

Virginia Roberts Giuffre from the United States is suing Duke of York. She claims that Andrew forced her to have sex. He has denied every sexual allegation against him.

In a world exclusive interview with The Mail on Sunday after her $28million (£21M) bail application was denied for the fourth time, Maxwell claimed negative media coverage while she has been in custody and the deliberate withholding of evidence have made it ‘impossible’ for her to receive a fair trial.

She spoke from her prison cell, 10ft x 12ft, in New York’s Metropolitan Detention Center. There she spent 16 months in isolation.

“I am afraid that the negative media coverage of my case will affect my jury pool, and the outcome of my trial. This is despite all the evidence I believe will support my innocence.

“I’m looking forward to being in court and proving that Epstein was innocent.” I am innocent.’
