Rumours have it that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may rent a second house – an apartment near New York’s United Nations Headquarters.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex currently live in an £11.2million ($14.65million) mansion in California, which they bought with a £7.3million ($9.5million) mortgage.
Four months after leaving Britain, the senior royals stepped down and they now live in the compound of 7.4 acres in Montecito.
According to New York gossip, the Sussexes may be considering renting a place near Midtown East’s UN Headquarters.
They visited the UN for a rare public appearance last September and were photographed with Amina Mohamed, Deputy Secretary-General.
Talks ranged from climate action, female economic empowerment, mental wellness, youth engagement, and vaccine equity.
