As Ellie Goulding, their wedding singer performed at Kate’s Westminster Abbey Christmas carol service, the Duke and Duchess shared a tender moment. 

In a trailer for the one-hour festive special, Royal Carols: Together at Christmas, which will be broadcast on ITV on Christmas Eve, Prince William turns to wife Kate, as Goulding sings Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas. 

William, smartly dressed in a suit with a tie, catches Kate’s eye. They share a friendly smile as they discuss Goulding’s performance. 

Goulding has a special place for them because of her performance at their 2011 wedding singing Elton John’s Your Song as their first dance.

This 34-year-old singer was one of a few special guests who were invited to sing at the Duchess’s Christmas carol service. 

The BBC Studios Events Productions filmed it and it will be shown. Send to ITV at 7.30pm on Christmas Eve.

According to reports, Prince William and Kate had dropped the BBC broadcaster in the special following the criticisms from the Queen, Prince Charles, and the Duke and Duchess Of Cambridge about The Princes and the Press. Credibility to “overblown and unfounded” claims about the Royal Family  

The trailer showed the Duchess, wearing a Miu Miu jumper and dressed as the host of the TV special. 

Kate smiled and said, “I am so excited to host Together At Christmas here in Westminster Abbey,” 

It also includes celebrity stars like Leona Lewis, Tom Walker and others. The video also includes a clip featuring Kate Garraway, presenting at Westminster Abbey concert. This was attended by senior royals and the Middleton clan.

The event was hosted by The Duchess and supported by The Royal Foundation. It paid tribute to individuals and organizations across the UK that supported communities during the Covid-19 pandemic.

This service was filmed for broadcast and allowed for people to gather and think about the amazing challenges they have experienced. It also provided an opportunity for us to remember the kindnesses we have seen in our country. We can see how communities have come together to support and help those in greatest need.

The service incorporated traditional elements and a contemporary and inclusive atmosphere to include people of all religions. It also featured carols performed by the internationally renowned Westminster Abbey Choir.

In recognition of the untold heroes across the country, the service was open to all. 

X Factor winner Leona Lewis sported a dazzling green dress to perform at the concert. The service, which will include musical performances from stars including Ellie Goulding and Leona Lewis, has been developed with BBC Studios Events Productions but will be broadcast on ITV at 7.30pm on Christmas Eve as part of a special programme called Royal Carols: Together At Christmas
