Some white, a little bit! As Queen Letizia, Spain’s Queen, and King Felipe VI begin their two-day State Visit to Sweden, Letizia exudes elegance in an asymmetrical recycled dress

Queen Letizia showcased her fashion prowess once again when joining her husband King Felipe VI as they kicked-off their two-day state visit to Sweden with a lavish reception.

On Tuesday, the royal couple visited the Residence of Spain Embassy to meet with Spanish citizens.

Mother-of-two Letizia, 49, donned an asymmetrical white dress with snake print shoes and a matching clutch bag, while Felipe, 53, appeared equally polished for the visit in response to an invitation from the King of Sweden.   

The trip comes less than a week after the couple held a glittering state banquet in honour of the Italian President Sergio Mattarella’s visit to Spain.

Letizia chose an elegant, white gown with a high waist and cinched waist for today’s show.

This look was completed by the mother-of-2 wearing glossy brunette hair that has a central part. 

The earrings were by Karen Hallam. She also had heels by Spanish brand Magrit. 

A black suit was teamed with a red tie, off-white shirt and a tie by King Felipe for a similarly dashing look. 

Travelling from the Adolfo Suárez Madrid Barajas Airport, the Spanish royals were accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Science and Innovation, as well as the Secretary of State for Commerce.

Felipe then addressed them at the Residence Of The Embassy of Spain In Sweden. 

He said, “We are sure that you have demonstrated not only your capacity to work and dedication, but also your tenacity, ingenuity and excellent training.

In Sweden, there has been a steady growth in Spanish immigration over the last 10 years. This includes a staggering 37.12 percent in just five years.

Felipe and Letizia will attend the official welcome ceremony at Stockholm’s Royal Palace tomorrow.

They will visit the Nobel Museum, where they’ll tour the exhibit ‘Synapse. Spain: Science and art. From Ramón y Cajal to our days.’

The King of Sweden will host a dinner in their honour, followed by a visit at the Parliament of Sweden. 

Their busy state trip is expected to end on Thursday, after a series of engagements including a lunch offered by the president of the Citizen Council and the mayor of Stockholm in their honour.
