Cristiano Ronaldo took to social media on Tuesday to show his gratitude for Liverpool’s fans’ singing of ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ during the seventh minute of their match against Manchester United.
Ronaldo did not attend Anfield’s match after his son died. Liverpool and United supporters joined Ronaldo for a round in seventh minute. It was Ronaldo’s number and it served as an emblem of support.
‘One world… One sport… One global family… Thanks, Anfield. Ronaldo posted the footage on Instagram along with a caption: “This moment of compassion and respect will not be forgotten by me and my family.”
He returned to Manchester United training on Wednesday and was again pictured arriving at their Carrington base on Thursday, the day United confirmed Erik ten Hag as their new manager.
Georgina Rodrguez, Ronaldo’s partner, announced in October they were planning twins. Their baby girl survived.

Katia Aveiro, Ronaldo’s sister, released an open letter where she wrote that ‘our little angel’ was already in daddy’s lap’, referring to Denis who died in 2005 following a long battle with alcoholism.
Aveiro sent a letter saying, “I love you” and that his heart was with you.

“Our angel is on dad’s lap already. “Our little angel is already there, strong and healthy. She is our constant reminder that love does matter.
