The robot vacuum cleaner that broke through the front door of a Travelodge was taken back to its owner.
According to reports, the cleaner who drives himself was missing from Orchard Park hotel, Cambridge on Thursday.
According to the hotel assistant manager, “Today one of our robot vacuums ran for its lives.”

Users of social media were quick to create puns. One said that they feared the robot out in the open, because nature hates vacuums.

Reddit was posted by the assistant manager at the hotel regarding his ‘little friend’. He promised to give a drink at the Travelodge bar to anyone who can return the escapee.
He explained that because the robot cannot be used with another charger, any kidnappers would lose it once its battery has run out.
Friday’s robot went missing and was discovered under a hedge.
According to the hotel the AWOL device has been recovered from its front drive hideout and is now’sitting happy on a shelf with all its robot vacuum families’.
