It was a British invasion at this year’s Screen Actors Guild Awards as some of the UK’s most celebrated actors attended the ceremony at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica on Sunday. 

Helen Mirren, Naomi Watts and Cynthia Erivo walked on the red carpet in front of Helen being presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

This actress (76 years old) looked stunning in a Prada pale pink dress with scooped neckline.

It also had a pink floral design. Helen wore matching hairstyles and carried a pink clutch.

The Oscar-winning actress wore her hair up in a ponytail and paired her look with Harry Winston diamond earrings. 

Naomi, who was there with Billy Crudup and looked stunning in a black, sleeveless, layered dress.

Naomi wore diamond earrings and the garment had a high collar with a pleated embellishment.

Benedict Cumberbatch was a Best Actor nominee and looked dapper as he arrived with Sophie Hunter.

The 45-year old film star is being nominated for The Power Of The Dog’s leading role. He wore a classic black blazer, trousers and a matching white shirt with black tie.

Sophie, theatre director, looked amazing in a sheer sheer gown with multi-coloured floral patterns and sleeves.  

Her brunette locks were styled into an updo by her stylist. She paired it with sunglasses and a clutch tote bag.

English Game Star, wore a peach long-sleeved turtleneck and layering dress.

Charlotte wore her auburn hair loosely and put on an adorable show for Ruairi, as they shared a kiss and posed for photos. 

Cynthia Erivo chose a bolder look with her bright red metallic gown and sweetheart neckline.

Douglas Hodge was dapper in his navy velvet suit. In support of Ukraine, he wore a pin that reflected the Ukranian flag’s colours. 

Juno Temple displayed her style with a glittering gold gown and structured shoulders.

The star styled her platinum blonde locks in a ponytail with an armband.

CODA Star Emilia Jones went bold in her black crop top with matching bottoms that she wore beneath a sheer dress.

It featured sequinned details, while the star added height by wearing heels. 

Caitriona Balfe, an Irish actress turned heads wearing a red gown with plunging neckline & leg splits while also sporting black heels.

Caitriona’s Belfast-based co-star Jamie Dornan looked sharp in a dark gray suit with a black bowtie, while Kenneth Branagh went for a traditional three-piece suit.   

Screen Actors Guild Awards, 28th year, celebrates excellence in television and film. 

Presenter for the program is currently unconfirmed. This has been true since 2020 when Schitt’s creek stars Eugene Levy & Dan Levy closed and opened the show.

“She’s set a high standard for actors. In every role she takes on, she surpasses her extraordinary performances.”

Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists awards the honors. 

These awards, which were founded in 1952 and honor outstanding television performances in film and primetime TV, are a tribute to the achievements of both movie and primetime.
