As Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial for sex trafficking of minors continues in Manhattan, her spouse Scott Borgerson appears to have a new squeeze hundreds of miles away in the quaint New England town of Manchester-by-the-Sea.
DailyMail.com revealed that Borgerson, a possible new flame was captured in Massachusetts late November.
Kris McGinn has now been named as her, who is a yoga lover and local journalist. McGinn (49), covers food trends and photography for Manchester Cricket, a 133-year old local newspaper.
Borgerson is yet to decide if he will travel to New York for the trial to support his wife. He secretly married her in 2016. There are still questions about their true relationship.
The couple was married according to the prosecution, although it was kept secret from close family members.
DailyMail.com was unable to locate any divorce papers or marriage licenses filed in their name in either the town or county they reside in.

The New York Post reports that she popular with the town’s ‘mommy scene.’ McGinn, who is currently going through divorce proceedings from Wesley Straub, hangs with Borgerson during weekends that she does not have children.
Kris McGinn Straub had been her writing name from mid-2020.
McGinn stated that she doesn’t believe she’ll answer any questions about Borgerson’s relationship.

In fact, she had lived there almost a full year. She only left in December 2019, when she purchased her home in Tuckedaway. It is located in Bradford, New Hampshire, two hours away. She was arrested by FBI agents at the house on July 2, 2020, in an early morning raid.
Borgerson is rarely seen around the town since his arrest. Locals say that they only see Borgerson at the local convenience and pizza shop once a month. He almost never enters local bars and restaurants.
Borgerson bought this $2.4million home in Manchester-by-the-Sea in June 2016. They were not able to make peace with their neighbors after Maxwell arrived.
Borgerson had been seen on his Massachusetts terrace in July 2020. This was just weeks after his wife, who was being held at an isolated hideaway in New Hampshire, was taken into custody.

Maxwell was so disconcerted by the discovery that he had been charged with sex trafficking, neighbors tried to intimidate Maxwell.
Rebecca, Borgerson’s ex-wife, lives in the same town as their children. Rebecca is a mother to a boy of 13 years and a girl of 10.
Borgerson, a former U.S. Coast Guard lieutenant-commander, is believed to have met Maxwell over eight years ago through speaking engagements connected to ocean preservation, a subject on which they share a passion.

Borgerson won a court case against neighbors who wanted to stop them using the beach and pathways near their property on the oceanfront. The neighbor was actually part of a larger estate owned by several other owners. However, the court decision was delayed because Maxwell, now 59, had moved to New Hampshire for a life of solitude.

‘I am weak, I am frail. I lack stamina. I am tired. Even my shoes don’t fit me properly. I eat rotten food. One of the apples contained maggots. “I have been forbidden to exercise.”
