As Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial for sex trafficking of minors continues in Manhattan, her spouse Scott Borgerson appears to have a new squeeze hundreds of miles away in the quaint New England town of Manchester-by-the-Sea.

DailyMail.com revealed that Borgerson, a possible new flame was captured in Massachusetts late November.

Kris McGinn has now been named as her, who is a yoga lover and local journalist. McGinn (49), covers food trends and photography for Manchester Cricket, a 133-year old local newspaper.

Borgerson is yet to decide if he will travel to New York for the trial to support his wife. He secretly married her in 2016. There are still questions about their true relationship.

The couple was married according to the prosecution, although it was kept secret from close family members.

DailyMail.com was unable to locate any divorce papers or marriage licenses filed in their name in either the town or county they reside in.

However, there is evidence that Borgerson could have moved on in his personal life. DailyMail.com has learned that Borgerson was dating McGinn.

DailyMail.com approached her and she refused to confirm or denial a relationship.

The New York Post reports that she popular with the town’s ‘mommy scene.’ McGinn, who is currently going through divorce proceedings from Wesley Straub, hangs with Borgerson during weekends that she does not have children.

Kris McGinn Straub had been her writing name from mid-2020.

McGinn stated that she doesn’t believe she’ll answer any questions about Borgerson’s relationship.

Borgerson, who was driving a sports car in the cool of November on a Thursday, pulled up at an oceanside liquor shop and bought two Marlboro Lights.

DailyMail.com’s clerk stated that she tried to speak to him, but he was unwilling to have a conversation. He came in with exactly what he needed.

As he got into his car, the wealthy entrepreneur didn’t answer any questions. He then sped off in his electric vehicle, retreating from a life of solitude that he has struggled to sustain since his wife, a 14-year-old, was taken into custody by federal agents and charged with procuring girls for Jeffrey Epstein.

Maxwell is facing six weeks in Federal Court, New York. It will concern alleged abuses and procurement of young girls. Her sentence could see her spend over 80 years prison if she is convicted.

Recent resignation by Borgerson from CargoMetrics’ CEO position in Boston was made to “ensure that his presence wouldn’t become a distraction” from the work in which he is so passionate about, according to the statement.

Speaking from her 10ft by 12ft prison cell inside New York's notorious Metropolitan Detention Center, Maxwell said: 'I have been assaulted and abused for almost a year and a half'

Maxwell, speaking from her 10-foot by 12-foot prison cell in New York’s Metropolitan Detention Center said that Maxwell had been subject to abuse and harassment for more than a year.

However, Maxwell, 44, has not been able escape the anger of neighbours who want him dead. Maxwell was even taken to jail for possible life-long confinement.

‘Every time I see him, I give him the middle finger,’ said a man whose relative is the  property manager of the 40-acre estate where Borgerson lives. I’m not able to see him anymore.

Maxwell was in an apartment with Maxwell in Sharksmouth. It is a well-to-do, quaint town located 30 miles north from Boston.

DailyMail.com revealed Maxwell’s Manchester home last August. Borgerson said that Maxwell had moved in with him.

In fact, she had lived there almost a full year. She only left in December 2019, when she purchased her home in Tuckedaway. It is located in Bradford, New Hampshire, two hours away. She was arrested by FBI agents at the house on July 2, 2020, in an early morning raid.

Borgerson is rarely seen around the town since his arrest. Locals say that they only see Borgerson at the local convenience and pizza shop once a month. He almost never enters local bars and restaurants.

Borgerson bought this $2home in Manchester-by-the-Sea in June 2016. After Maxwell moved in, they were unable to find peace in their community.

Neighbors were so disgusted when they discovered in February 2019 that an accused sex trafficker was living among them that they tried to harass Maxwell into leaving

Maxwell was so disconcerted by the discovery that he had been charged with sex trafficking, neighbors tried to intimidate Maxwell.

Rebecca, Borgerson’s ex-wife, lives in the same town as their children. Rebecca is a mother to a boy of 13 years and a girl of 10.

Borgerson, a former U.S. Coast Guard lieutenant-commander, is believed to have met Maxwell over eight years ago through speaking engagements connected to ocean preservation, a subject on which they share a passion.

Both were pictured in 2013 speaking at Reykjavik’s Arctic Circle Assembly, Iceland.

After Maxwell discovered their relationship, Borgerson split from Rebecca (pictured).

His ex-wife Rebecca and he were married. When he said he’d give a speech to London, Rebecca discovered that he was actually in Miami with Maxwell.

Dec 2015 was the final day of their divorce.

Borgerson bought the home in Manchester-by-the-Sea in June 2016. They were not able to make peace within their community after Maxwell arrived. When they found out that Maxwell was a suspected sex dealer, neighbors were disgusted and tried to force her away.

One resident stated that they felt sex trading and pedophilia were the worst things on the planet and wanted to get them off their property.

Borgerson won a court case against neighbors who wanted to stop them using the beach and pathways near their property on the oceanfront. The neighbor was actually part of a larger estate owned by several other owners. However, the court decision was delayed because Maxwell, now 59, had moved to New Hampshire for a life of solitude.

DailyMail.com spoke to a resident who met Maxwell and Borgerson on several occasions. They shared that Borgerson talked often about his dreams of being President of America. ‘His relationship with Ghislaine has pretty much scuppered that — and I’m glad,’ he said.

He is a very personable, bright, intelligent man, but he also loves money and power.

Rebecca Maxwell was a Christian ex-wife who made an effort to get along with Maxwell. Rebecca felt that it was easier to forgive than to keep anger. She believes that the Bible encourages us to be kind. One friend stated that they had met several times. They were extremely cordial with each other.

Maxwell (59) appeared before Judge Alison Nathan in New York on Tuesday. She questioned many potential jurors who would decide Maxwell’s fate in the coming months.

Opening statements won’t begin until November 29th, when the selection process will be complete. It is anticipated that the trial will last until mid-January.

Maxwell, 59, spoke to The Mail on Sunday for the first time about her ‘living hell’ behind bars – claiming that she has been assaulted and abused by prison guards, purposely deprived of sleep and given rotting food to eat.

Maxwell had her $28million bail request denied last week for the fourth consecutive time. Maxwell also claimed that negative media coverage and deliberate withholding evidence made it impossible for her to have a fair trial.

Maxwell spoke from her prison cell, 10 ft by 12, solitary in New York’s Metropolitan Detention Center. Maxwell stated that she had been assaulted, abused, and kept this confession for nearly a year.

“I’ve never had a healthy meal since I was a teenager. I haven’t slept without lights on – fluorescent lights that have damaged my eyes – or been allowed to sleep without constant interruptions.

‘I am weak, I am frail. I lack stamina. I am tired. Even my shoes don’t fit me properly. I eat rotten food. One of the apples contained maggots. “I have been forbidden to exercise.”

Maxwell faces the rest of her life behind bars if convicted of abusing and procuring young girls for billionaire financier Jeffrey Epstein – charges that she vehemently denies.

Expect her lawyers to claim she is being punished through proxy for Epstein’s horrible crimes. One source close to this case says that’someone must pay for what he did.

Maxwell told his friends that he fears it won’t be possible to have a fair trial. I fear the media will spread negative stories about Maxwell and influence the outcome of my trial. Despite the fact that the evidence will prove that the jury didn’t know everything, it is a frightening thought.

“I am looking forward to having the opportunity to testify in court that I did not participate in Epstein’s crimes.”
