After failing to switch off Zoom during disciplinary meetings for another official, a Russian politician took off his clothes and went into the shower.
Maxim Petlin, 48, a member of the anti-Kremlin Yabloko party, was seen getting up from his desk, undressing and parading naked in front of the camera at his home in Yekaterinburg.
Petlin is chairman of Yabloko’s Sverdlovsk Branch. The others seemed to be trying to keep their attention off Petlin and they continued to meet as if nothing was going on.

Petlin is a member from the anti-Kremlin Yabloko political party. He was seen getting up off his desk and parading completely naked in front the camera at his Yekaterinburg residence.
However, the footage from the disciplinary hearing of a municipal MP was released to Mash news outlet.
When asked about URA’s ’embarrassment,’ Ru Petlin replied: “Did you appear naked?” Is this absurdity?
“There was an internet meeting today. I can’t remember if I was naked.

Petlin was then seen walking out of the frame completely naked, and later appearing to be in the shower.
The episode was not discussed by his party.
When he was sentenced for extortion eight years back, the party of Ekaterinburg’s then MP stood with him.
According to the party, the charges against Petlin were fabricated by authorities. Petlin is a political prisoner.
Petlin denies that an incident happened, saying to URA.ru that he did not appear naked. Is this absurdity?
