It doesn’t matter if it’s Bridgerton’s classic music covers or Squid Game’s haunting percussive music, some of Netflix’s top TV shows feature iconic soundtracks.
Netflix has now teamed with Spotify in order to offer a new hub for music fans to hear the soundtracks to their favourite programs.
This hub is free for Premium and Free listeners and contains soundtracks, playlists as well as podcasts from programs such Money Heist, Bridgerton, and Squid Game.
Netflix and Spotify have teamed up to create a hub that allows fans to listen to the music from their favorite programmes.
Spotify published a blog post on its website revealing the creation of the hub.
According to the report, “Today’s top movies and shows don’t just inspire fandoms; they are also fueling obsessions across the internet,”
“So much so, that Spotify listeners created over 225,000 unique playlists within two weeks of Squid Game’s initial release on Netflix.
“It is clear that viewers want more after the credits roll – they turn to Spotify for it.
“So today, both streaming companies have teamed up to create a new Netflix Hub for Spotify. Here fans will be able to stream audio from their favorite content.
Access to the hub is free for Premium and Free listeners from the US, Canada Australia, New Zealand Canada, Australia and Ireland.
Spotify stated that by simply searching “Netflix” on Spotify, one can search for and listen to music from your favourite Netflix series – all at once.
You can listen to the hub for free and premium. It includes podcasts, soundtracks, playlists, and audios from programmes such as Money Heist and Bridgerton (pictured).
The launch of the hub comes shortly after Squid Game emerged as Netflix’s most-watched TV show or film ever.
A new website was launched by the streaming site to measure viewing numbers in an attempt to increase transparency.
With the release of Netflix Top 10, the website that tracks metrics shows Netflix the most watched TV series and movies worldwide. It was launched after 14 years of secretiveness.
Squid Game is the Korean superstar who sits comfortably at the top.
