Sara Davies and her professional dance partner Aljaz Škorjanec became the seventh couple to be eliminated from this year’s Strictly Come Dancing after facing off against Tilly Ramsay and Nikita Kuzmin in Sunday’s dance off.
Aljaz and Sara performed the Argentine Tango To No More Tears (Enough is Enough) for the second consecutive time to please judges Motsi Maubeke, Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood.
Tilly and Nikita danced their Quickstep to I Won’t Dance By Damita Jo.

Craig decided to save Tilly & Nikita. He explained: “This was a very difficult decision since I gave both couples a 7.
‘So very, very equal which made the decision even more difficult, but I think for me, the couple that stood out a little bit more and had the edge – Tilly and Nikita.’
Motsi chose to save Tilly, Nikita and other dancers, saying, ‘Judging by this dance-off, I must say that there were three things that made it my decision; the details, nerves, and a strong competitor, so I’m saving Tilly, Nikita and all of them.
Anton saved Tilly, and Nikita, as well.

Oh, dear: They waited impatiently to discover who would save them.
‘Well, I think if you were ever choosing to do Strictly Come Dancing, this is the year to avoid,’ he said delivering his verdict.
The standard for the Final is very high, and any of these two couples could have been in it every year.
“Based upon this dance contest and this solo dance off which were so strong, I’m going to just give the edge Tilly and Nikita.
It meant that Tilly and Nikita had received three votes each. They would now be expelled from the competition, regardless of Shirley’s decision.
She said she was willing to save Tilly, Nikita and her family, however, that she had not changed her mind.

Tess Daly, co-presenter of the program asked Sara questions about their show. Sara responded: “I did not know that any of this existed in me. It was a life-changing experience, and it has been one that I love every moment of.
Aljaz smiled when he was asked what words he would like to say for his partner.
He continued, “Honestly I would never dance with anyone else.” Your joy has been unmatched and your hard work is a testimony to it.
Judges’ decision: All judges chose to save Tilly, with Craig Revel Horwood saying: ‘I think for me, the couple that stood out a little bit more and had the edge – Tilly and Nikita’
Motsi Mbuse stated: “I am saving Tilly, and Nikita.”
“Thanks for giving me the opportunity to spend time with all my family.
“I feel so welcome up North. It made me feel at home back in Slovenia, because everybody is so friendly and kind.”
He stated, “I will miss you so very much.” You will always be my partner in dance. This show is going to be a great loss. I want to thank everyone who supported us.
Sara responded: ‘[Aljaz]One in a million. I say it to him daily, and it wouldn’t be the same experience without him.
Sunday’s results showed opened with an emotional performance by the pros in memory of Remembrance Sunday.
James Blunt also performed the song Goodbye My Lover.
Anton Du Beke added: ‘Based on this dance off and this dance off alone, which was so strong, I’m just going to give the edge to Tilly and Nikita’
Shirley Ballas was the head judge. She stated: “Yes. I would have saved Tilly, and Nikita.”
Final thoughts: When asked by co-presenter Tess Daly about their time on the show, Sara said: ‘I had no idea any of this was in me. This has been an amazing experience that changed my life and I have loved every minute of it.
The Mail revealed that Strictly contestants believe their bosses are trying to get their favorite performers into the final.
Rumours on the show claim that the BBC chiefs want Tilly to finish the series, as they are looking to seize her celebrity father Gordon from ITV.
Stars also claimed that producers want Strictly’s very first ever all-male pair, John Waite, and Johannes Radebe, all the way through to the final.
According to some, TV presenter AJ Odudu is paired with Kai Widdrington who is a professional dancer. This is another favorite with the suits.
Sources say that contestants in distress believe there is an “agenda” at the BBC and they would feel the best if Radebe or Waite won.
The bosses of Strictly were apparently shocked last year by the departure of the first gay couple, Nicola Adams & Katya Jones. Jones became positive for Covid after four weeks.
One source said: ‘There’s a feeling that there’s some blatant favouritism going on here – that they are pushing Tilly to win, or at least get to the final, because they want to nick her dad.
“Then there is the problem of an all-male couple. This dream scenario was only possible for John and Johannes. AJ is adored.
