Motsi Mabuse has been accused of ‘looking absolutely fuming’ as Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice were crowned the Strictly Come Dancing winners during Saturday’s live final.

Television judge (40) had previously given EastEnders’ star, 27-year-old, a perfect 10/10 score. She also stated that she was “capable of doing any thing” in glowing feedback.

Motsi, however, appeared sour-faced when the results were announced. Johannes Radebe and John Whaite narrowly missed it.

Rose had previously heard Motsi say to Rose that he was a man who showed us we were capable of accomplishing anything we put our minds to. Because you were there, I feel more confident.

However, fans took to Twitter immediately after the episode to vent their frustration at Motsi’s behavior.

One wrote: “Motsi was not happy with the outcome, wasn’t she?” #Strictly.’ Others commented: “Motsi seemed absolutely furious with the results there!” #Strictly2021 Motsi was not happy to see the results, but his face when they were announced was priceless.

Giovanni, a teary eyed winner of Strictly Seven years ago, also celebrated their win on BBC TV. 

Rose is most well-known for her role as Frankie Lewis on EastEnders. He stated to Rose: “I must say thanks to this beautiful young woman that made all of my dreams come true.”

“It was seven years before I got that thing.

“You were the greatest dancer I have ever seen, and the most supportive teammate that I could wish for. Rose, you are truly a fairytale. We are grateful for all that you do.

Samuel Arnold, Rose’s boyfriend, was proud to be present.

Giovanni said to Rose, who is best known for playing Frankie Lewis in EastEnders: ‘I have to say thank you to this beautiful young lady that made all my dreams come true. That was seven years ago.

As they started off the show the couple impressed the judges immediately. They hoped to increase their 37-point score by dancing the Quickstep to Love Is An Open Door, which was part of Musical Week.

Shirley Ballas, the head judge at Strictly Magic, commented upon their performances. This was amazing Quickstep.

Anton Du Beke said: “I don’t know who’s more anxious, Giovanni or you.” It was beautiful, charming and wonderful.

Craig Revel Horwood was able to score nine while Shirley, Motsi Mabuse and Anton were able to give 10 points each, which gives them a nearly perfect 39.  

John’s Judge’s Choice, which was Rumba to Shape of My Heart from Sting was next. Shirley said to the couple: “It’s quite emotional for me. It was an inspiring story about hope and storytelling. 

John: “The greatest compliment I can offer you John is that you hope to dance the Rumba with me one day.”
