Rose Ayling Ellis has shared the love story of her special time with Donna, after she received the Glitterball trophy Saturday night.
Dan mentioned a photograph he shared previously on Instagram, where Rose was tightly hugging her mom while holding onto her historic trophy.
Rose and her partner Giovanni Pernice were appearing on Zoom. Rose said, “When I won, I was so stunned I couldn’t communicate.” My mum hugged and everyone came to me saying “Well done” while I burst into tears when she hugged me.
Recalling the journey she has been on with Donna, Rose explained: ‘At primary school, nursery school, going way back, where my education was difficult, so my mum had to fight to make it accessible for me.’
Sweet: The Strictly Come Dancing winner, 27, said that her mother has continually been her biggest advocate throughout her life and always ‘fought’ to make everything accessible to her during a ‘difficult’ education
She said, “Everything I did I was always fighting for what I needed.”
Rose said that Rose didn’t believe it would be the end she hoped it would.
Rose exclaimed: “It is so common for disabled people that fighting every day, so it is nice not to.” To actually win.
Rose answered a question about Sunday after she won the show and said that it was “very strange.” It was very quiet. I felt as if it had just happened. It didn’t feel real.
Winners! Rose and Giovanni were the champions of Saturday night
Rose spoke out about her feelings of being a role model to young people in the Deaf Community, which she was unable to do.
She stated, “It’s so beautiful, I didn’t have that as a child, because I didn’t have anybody to look up too.” Everyone should be inspired in what they do. People should realize that it is not an issue when they are interviewed.
“I am excited to see the next step and all that will follow.”
Giovanni, who won seven of the competitions, said proudly, “It’s still here, it’s everywhere!”
Mum: Speaking on BBC Breakfast with her competitor and host Dan Walker and Sally Nugent, Rose described how everyone was rushing over to offer their congratulations, but she broke down when she saw her mum (Donna pictured recently)
“I feel it has been a wonderful journey, and we made a major statement. While it’s great to win the show we felt that we had made a significant statement. This was important for Rose, and the deaf community.
Giovanni shared how, prior to meeting Rose, he had never been worried about trying and teach deaf people to dance.
He stated that he thought it was an entirely different method of teaching but was not worried. It was even more exciting. Because I have been doing the show for so many years, I was in desperate need of a different kind of sparkle.
When asked about their first dance, he stated that the Jive was difficult due to the fact that it involved a lot counting. However, when I saw her do the Foxtrot, it was clear that she is capable of dancing. It has been amazing.
Rose was on Zoom dancing with Giovanni Pernice. Rose said that she was shocked to win the competition. My mum hugged and everyone came to me saying “Well done”; I just broke down when she hugged me.
“I thought that I had made a mistake when we began our Foxtrot Week 3. This year has been the most difficult and rewarding. All could have made it to the final. “We were there each week, thinking about our dance.”
“I’m beyond honored to have been a part this Rose journey. From day one it’s been an honor. It was her main goal to send a message.
Our couple made the right choice and it was clear that we could make an impact on even tiny things. We should encourage inclusion of the deaf community and all communities. Anyone can do this if they are willing to put in 13 weeks.
It has been reported that Rose could earn over £1 million following her victory.
Rose, currently playing Frankie Lewis on BBC’s EastEnders, is being tipped to do big after Giovanni and she danced their ways to the Glitterball Troph.
Barry Tomes, celebrity agent said to the Daily Star newspaper: “The whole world is waiting for her.” She could earn over £1million in 2022. She will be able to make that much if she is a calm and professional agent. She’ll be rewarded for every penny.
“There’s talk already of her making movies. It has been reported that she is being offered roles.
Rose: “I love Rose. Her popularity is unmatched. Her naturalness is amazing. She doesn’t seem to have an agenda.
BBC bosses dismissed reports that the actress who is deaf will soon be leaving Albert Square to go to Hollywood.
The Sun newspaper was told by a source that this is not true. Rose does not intend to stop EastEnders. She is looking forward very much to shooting again in New Year’s.
These rumours are based on John Waite’s win in Great British Bake Off and Johannes Radebe’s victory as a soap star.
Rose, who impressed the judges by her performance during the final, said to Giovanni: “I just want you to know that I am so amazed.” Because of you, I have a greater belief in myself than ever before. Your teaching skills are amazing, but you’re not only an exceptional teacher. You’re a great friend.
“We have gone through many things, and I just wanted to let you know that I am there for you, regardless of how busy you get. It’s true.
It’s not true. BBC bosses downplayed reports that deaf actress would be moving to Hollywood from Albert Square.
