Succession is well-known for its ability to bring the “stealth wealth” designer clothing of the super rich to television.
Look closer, and some of these high-end items are actually from British High Street shops.
The wardrobe department seamlessly blends designer buys from Ralph Lauren Collection, Monique Lhuillier and Proenza Schouler with affordable finds from the likes of Reiss and Hobbs.
In the season 3 finale, for example, Shiv (Sarah Snook) wore an ill-fitting £169 Ted Baker dress to her mother Caroline’s (Harriet Walter) Italian wedding, pairing it with a chic hat and a pair of shoes.

Even though the character is well-known for her sleek style, this floral gown was slightly unusual. It prompted Twitter users and viewers to comment on the decision. One user noted that the fabric had ‘wrinkles’ and ‘pulls’.
Meanwhile, one mother-of-the-bride posted: ‘Shiv wore the same dress to her mom’s wedding that I wore to my daughter’s wedding!’
This is not the first season that the brand has been featured in the campaign.

Although they do have high-end brands, it is not like the new rich or Instagram millionaires.
Instead it is quietly expensive: an exquisitely tailored suit for Logan or Shiv’s sophisticated separates from the likes of Gabriela Hearst, Max Mara or Loro Piana.

Rachel Gold, sylist, said that Shiv’s clothes are classic and corporate. However, they’re also approachable because the colors match her skin tone. “Plus, the soft textures add a touch of femininity.
You will find a lot of suits and turtlenecks in the wardrobe.
While the media maven can buy Ralph Lauren, Theory and The Row, the average person can get her look for less by shopping at Massimo Dutti and Jigsaw.
‘The trick to nailing Shiv’s style is look for high waisted tailored trousers, sharp blazers and fitted knitwear in neutral hues such as monochrome, camel, navy and taupe,’ said fashion stylist Hannah Eichler.
‘Add ladylike jewellery and a slick of buttery rose hued lipstick and don’t forget to dig out those straighteners – you’ll need a sleek bob to show you mean business.’

Fallal tones: Shiv wears a classic silk shirt in an orange-burnt hue, in series one. This shade is typical of the colour scheme she used in earlier episodes. Right, a Holland Cooper blouse, £199
