A chat-up line from a dating site sent a woman a fat shameful message. The lady shared her dismay on TikTok.
Em Sumners 21, a Sydney resident, posted a video showing a very disturbing exchange on Tinder with Mikey.
She is now a mother of two and shared this clip to remind people about the sometimes difficult reality of online dating. The video has been viewed over 3.7million times on TikTok.
The video’s viewers were stunned by Mikey’s harsh comments and puzzled at Em’s attempts to seduce him romantically.

Em Sumners fell prey to a Tinder trolling bot and posted the fat-shaming comment on her TikTok Page

Em, who shared the conversation with Em, revealed that she was called slightly obese in a video clip that has been viewed over 600 000 times.
Em captioned the clip using a funny ‘Thanks Mikey’, and lip synced Olivia Rodrigo’s lyrics, ‘I Found a Guy, Told Me I Was a Star’. The exchange was shown on greenscreen behind her.
Mikey initiated the conversation in the Tinder message by saying, “Hey baby! Put down that cupcake!” and then sprinting to his house.
Em was confused and replied: “Cupcake?” The meme included a picture of a child confused and was sent along by Em.
Mikey said, “You look like a person hiding cupcakes on your bedside table”.

Many of Em’s followers shared her confused reaction, as they couldn’t grasp what Mikey was trying to achieve.
Unamused, Em asked: ‘The f*** is that supposed to mean?’
Mikey responded bluntly: “It means that you’re somewhat obese.”
Em smiled and rolled her eyes, seemingly laughing at this ridiculous attempt to grab her attention. But commenters quickly supported her.
One person said: D’o straight men even like women? That’s something I question every single day.
Another person agreed, saying: ‘I don’t get what would motivate someone to reach out and insult a stranger but still be down to f**k .’

Many people found it offensive that Mikey used blunt talk up lines to attack Em.
The third party was infuriated and said: “He asks for sex, and says you are fat simultaneously. That’s ridiculous.”
However, Mikey was praised by others for seeing the humorous side of things.
One individual said, “He never said that any of these things were bad.”
One claimed, “But he said Come over?” So he needs you.

Mikey’s ‘hilarious and humorous’ attitude was appreciated by some commenters who thought that he merited praise.
A third party simply stated that Mikey was the most funny man ever.
Others were more focused on Mikey’s mention of the cupcake drawer than they were on whether or not Mikey crossed a line.
One individual said, “A cupcake a Day keeps the losers from getting hurt.”
Someone else stated: “Everyone is missing a bigger picture…get a gal who has a cupcake drawer.”
Another person also agreed with me, saying that he should have cupcakes right next to his bed. This is a great idea.

Some commenters found Mikey’s suggestion of a cupcake drawer inspirational, and they wanted to make their own.
