Several sources, including a local estate agent, have confirmed that Burrow Farm Estate near Henley has been sold for about £30 million after being on the market for six months.

Keven Bentley is a millionaire and father to Made In Chelsea actress Olivia. He is struggling to understand that his 478-acre Chilterns estate is ending in the New Year.

But if that’s true, Keven is in denial, telling me: ‘Nothing is confirmed.

‘We’ve had many wealthy people looking around, including film stars like Jason Statham, and there are four or five people very interested, but a sale hasn’t been agreed.’

The estate, which boasts 14 homes, 11 commercial units, two pools and a pheasant shoot, was previously owned by insurance broker David Palmer – father of Keven’s wife Kate and her two sisters.

In 2019, Mr Palmer passed away and it was left to Kate, Mel, and Alice. They are believed to be keen sellers.

It is believed that the buyer will be a wealthy gambling mogul who has rented the largest estate house and maintains a Porsche as well as a helicopter.

David Palmer was an insurance broker who owned 478 acres of Chilterns property. The estate includes 11 residential units and 14 homes.

Sources say Keven has struggled to come to terms with losing his home, and one person who viewed the property said Keven sat on a bench in the garden and ‘glared at visitors’.

Kate laughed off the idea, but admitted getting a consortium to buy her sisters out ‘might once have been a fantasy’.

In another strange twist, Keven told me: ‘We found a bomb in the grounds. It made a hell of a noise.’ That’s one way to scare off buyers!
