Today, a math teacher who was deemed mild and mellow in mathematics was sentenced to prison for encouraging sexual activity between a girl aged 15 years old and her husband, whose social worker husband is a psychologist.
Aimee, now 35, approached the girl in her 15th year and shared with her via messages that they had an attraction.
It started a relationship lasting 15 months that became sexual when the girl was 16.
Teesside Crown Court was informed that Jones and Jones had been involved in sexual liaisons.
Prosecutors stated that they touched one another sexually after touching each other in the park.
The court heard that they were covered in a blanket and stripped down to their waists.
Jones invent a woman she claimed was her student to be her lover. This would make it difficult for Philip to smell the love.
Jones, the Head of Science and Maths at Darlington School in County Durham, encouraged colleagues to lie about their cheating to Philip when asked.

It worked initially, and the couple decided to stay together for their 4-year-old son. Jones later accepted her bisexuality.
Later, he found out that her lover had been a teenager who she’d met in her car, Hardwick Park in Sedgefield County Durham, and for sexual encounters.
Because of his work, Mr Jones was obliged to report the incident to police.
This cost her husband her job, career, as well as the humiliation that came with being taken off school grounds before staff members and parents.
Jones is currently in Melsonby (North Yorks) and will begin an eight month sentence. She was sentenced by a judge for destroying her good reputation.
Four counts were filed against her for engaging in sexual activity between a 13-year-old and a 17 year old child. These offences occurred in eight encounters between Jones and Jones.
Jon Harley, the Prosecutor of Jones said Jones approached Jones in 2020 at 15 years old.
He explained that she had been told by the defendant that she was bisexual. She also said that she was feeling sexual attraction toward her.
Teesside Crown Court has sentenced Jones after she admitted to four counts in which Jones engaged in sexual activity while she was 13-17 years old.
“This caused her to feel somewhat uncomfortable. She did not know how or where to find the right information.
“But messages between the two continued over the next weeks and months, mostly initiated by the defendant.
‘It is fair that they were not characterized as being overtly homosexual, they were polite & pleasant but sent clear messages that Mrs Jones was interested.
A 15-month relationship was established via messaging. The girl felt that Jones and she were mutually in love.
He said that Phillip Jones became suspicious of his wife’s extra-marital affair, and confronted him about it.
She confirmed that she was having an affair with Sarah Martin, her teaching assistant.
“She tried to pretend that there was an assistant teaching at the school by sending an email to this effect in preparation for her husband asking questions.
Robert Mochrie, mitigating the case, explained to the court how Jones learned the truth about his spouse, who was’meekly mild and timid’.
He stated that the husband of the defendant was supportive of his wife’s sexuality, and they agreed to continue their marriage.
“It wasn’t until months later that the truth of her identity was revealed and at that point, her husband, who holds some sort of responsibility, had to make this report.
The victim’s personal statement of the girl’s mom detailed the effects Jones’ sexual abuse and grooming of her daughter had on her family.
According to her, the sudden end of the relationship was ‘like a loss’ for her daughter.
She added that her mother was certain they had fallen in love, and she would prefer the relationship to continue.
“She knows now that it’s something wrong and she has done everything to try to restore some order in our home.”
Mother continued: “At worst, she was stupid but she preyed upon the fact that our daughter was vulnerable right from the beginning.”
Jones has accepted that her career as an educator is finished, according to Mr Mochrie.
Christopher Smith, Judge accepted the assertion of Mr Mochrie that Jones showed sincere remorse for her victim’s arrest.
But he stated that these offences were so severe, an immediate custodial sentence was possible.
His words were: “This is an awfully sad case. You’re intelligent, well educated and hardworking. It is not possible to say that you are anything but a well respected teacher. You have even risen to head your department at age 35.
He added that she was being held for 8 months in prison and said: “All this has had an affect on your victim. I found it significant that you were almost twenty years apart in terms of age.
“She believed in you and had real feelings for you. Unfortunately, that ended abruptly.”
