It’s been a busy couple of months for Princess Diana actress Elizabeth Debicki – and she was once again spotted filming new scenes for series five of The Crown this week.

The Australian actress, 31, who is taking over the role from Emma Corrin, sported the late royal’s signature blonde locks while wearing a long puffer jacket and matching black boots during a break from filming.

She was joined on location outside one of the Princess of Wales’ favourite London restaurants, Launceston Place in Kensington, by actor Salim Daw, who is playing Mohamed Al Fayed in the popular Netflix show, the former Harrods owner and father of Diana’s lover Dodi.

A glimpse of a teal shimmering dress could be seen in one photograph taken of Elizabeth, who teamed her glittering ensemble with drop pearl earrings and a smattering of glamorous makeup.

It is not clear what scene was being film for the drama. However, Crown’s fifth season will be a history of the Royal Family through the 1990s.

The Netflix series The Crown has been well-known for its ability to bend facts in order to fit its story. While some artistic license is normal, critics are outraged at the rewriting and altering of history and relationships.
