Rupert Murdoch had the chance to let Jerry Hall go and enjoy his granddaughter’s big day.

The celebrations ended in a rut for the media mogul of 91 years, after Miss Hall’s lawyers took advantage of the occasion to give him legal papers.

Sunday’s Mail can confirm that Mr Murdoch received the documents from RAF Brize Norton, Oxfordshire just moments before he boarded the private aircraft.

Michael Colacicco (a private investigator and former Metropolitan Police Anti-Terror Officer) sat in wait. One witness claims that Murdoch was protected by security, but didn’t respond in time before Colacicco handed the paperwork to the mogul.

The source stated that the man looked “shocked”, to put it mildly.

The extraordinary scenario could have come straight from an episode of the hit television drama Succession, which follows the machinations of an elderly billionaire media mogul and his warring family who are fighting to wrestle control of the dynasty

You could easily have adapted this extraordinary story from Succession’s hit TV drama. Succession follows an elderly media mogul and his family, who fight for control over the dynasty.

This extraordinary scene could have been straight out of a Succession episode. It follows the adventures of a media mogul who is an elderly billionaire and the warring families that are trying to take control of the family dynasty.

Perhaps Miss Hall’s use of such aggressive tactics in order to move the divorce proceedings is a sign of her frustration with her treatment. According to reports, billionaire Murdoch sent Miss Hall an email in which he ended his six-year-old marriage.

According to her sources, she was ‘devastated by’ the marital collapse and believed that Murdoch degraded on her during pandemic. He kept her isolated so that he wouldn’t get Covid. This allegedly caused tensions between his children and he’mistrusted her’, accusing her of not letting them see him.

According to Miss Hall’s lawyers, she filed for divorce in Los Angeles on July 1. She cited ‘irreconcilable disagreements’. Although they are believed to have entered into a prenuptial arrangement, Miss Hall’s attorneys claim she wasn’t aware of its full extent and nature. After Miss Hall had filed for divorce, Murdoch was seen mingling and chatting with his family at St Mary’s Church Westwell in Oxfordshire to attend the wedding of Charlotte Storey and Luke Storey.

On Monday, Mr Murdoch received divorce papers.

Lying in wait was private investigator Michael Colacicco, a former Metropolitan Police anti-terrorism officer. According to one witness, Mr Murdoch was surrounded by his security but ¿didn¿t react in time¿ before Mr Colacicco thrust the paperwork into the mogul¿s hands

Nick Goldstone of international law firm Ince was the head of dispute settlement. He said that Murdoch being served personally showed the recipient did not expect to receive it or that the server expected some level of evasion.

He said, “Until service has been rendered, proceedings can’t proceed.” You need to be careful, especially when the target is an international traveller. You can help them by catching them on their spot.

According to him, the movement suggested that Miss Hall wanted to “progress with divorce as quickly as possible”.

Mark Stephens, CBE of London-based Howard Kennedy said that it was an ‘executed’ service and served Mr Murdoch as a way to “speed up” the process.

He said, “I think he.” [Murdoch]His lawyers were not allowed to refuse service, but he was given an opportunity. Although it may not have been possible to do so, the message was clear: “You’re going to be punished for this.”

The celebrations turned sour for the 91-year-old media tycoon after Miss Hall's divorce lawyers seized the opportunity to serve him with legal papers

Celebrations ended in disgrace for Miss Hall, a media tycoon of 91 years old. His divorce lawyers used the occasion to deliver legal papers to him.

Mr Stephens said the fact Miss Hall filed for divorce in California – they were married in London – is significant as it is a community property state, meaning that any property acquired during the marriage is by default split 50/50.

Financial disclosures made by Mr Murdoch to Miss Hall as part of their prenup are some examples of documents that might be published.

Stephens stated that the case does not need to go to court. He is rich enough to do what’s required. The smart thing is don’t line the pages of newspapers – just get on and settle the case.’

While Mr Murdoch did not comment on the matter, Miss Hall and her legal staff didn’t respond to any questions.
