Today’s royal experts stated that the absence of Queen Elizabeth cast a shadow over Remembrance Sunday at Cenotaph. However, she was represented on the balcony by three “wonderful women” in Camilla Kate, Sophie and Sophie.

A back strain caused the monarch, aged 95 years old, to feel ‘deeply depressed’ about having to cancel yesterday’s national remembrance in Westminster.

Royal commentators stated that Britons were becoming increasingly ’emotionally worried’ about her. The look on attendees’ faces suggested they might be ‘thinking in a way we don’t like to think.

Angela Levin was the Royal Author. She said it was a’most important engagement’ but it was difficult to get from Windsor, London to London. The Queen would then have to’stand for long periods’.

GB News spoke to her: She said that she watched the film on television so it was possible that she was present in spirit but not herself. We all sense that an age is ending, though we aren’t sure how much longer. I believe this to be true.

“You could not have asked for better women on the balcony. They are all committed to the monarchy and work hard.

They put their efforts into maintaining the monarchy and making sure that the Queen is well looked after. We are blessed to have such strong women.

Buckingham Palace stated that she was there despite having to cancel some engagements for ill reasons. Officials announced that she will attend the London ceremony on Thursday.

Yesterday morning she arrived at the hospital just two hours earlier than she was scheduled to. However, her spokesman stated that she had been suffering from further illness and couldn’t attend. The spokesman stressed that there wasn’t any connection to her recent hospitalization.

Boris Johnson watched the ceremony on television at her Windsor home. Boris Johnson said at a Downing Street press event: “I know everyone will want to send her their best wishes.

“And I just wanted everyone to be reassured by saying that last Wednesday, I had the opportunity to see Queen Elizabeth II and she was very happy. Although it shouldn’t be necessary, I wanted to mention it nonetheless.

After hospitalization and rest orders, the Queen missed major events

This is only one of the many important engagements she has been unable to attend over the past week. These are other engagements:

Northern Ireland

On October 20, the Queen cancelled her two-day visit to Northern Ireland. Buckingham Palace informed her that she had been given an order to stop by the royal doctors the day before she was to start the visit.

While the Palace stated that the monarch was in Windsor Castle resting, later it became clear that she had secretly been admitted to hospital on Wednesday afternoon for “preliminary investigation”. It was her eighth overnight stay at King Edward VII’s Hospital.

Cop26 Climate Change Summit

To address the world’s leaders, the Queen would travel to Scotland in November to participate at the critical environmental summit. She also attended a reception along with members of her royal family.

Five days prior to the event, however, the Palace announced that the Queen had “regretfully decided” not to travel to Glasgow for the Cop26 evening reception. The Queen instead recorded a message on video calling for leaders to get out of politics and address the global warming crisis.

Festival of Remembrance

The Royal Albert Hall hosts a moving commemorative event every year on Remembrance Sunday. The Festival of Remembrance sees the drop of poppy flowers from the ceiling in two minutes of silence to honor all the Commonwealth and British citizens who gave their lives for the country.

According to the Palace, the Queen was advised by her doctor to take a rest for at most two more weeks so she wouldn’t miss the Festival of Remembrance. Instead, the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall, and other royals led the festivities, which included the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Remembrance Sunday

On October 29, the Palace stated the Queen was there with a ‘firm intent’. Details of her attendance were made public on Armistice Day, November 11. Just two hours before her appearance was scheduled, the Queen announced that she would be absent due to a back injury.

As head of the Armed Forces the Queen attaches high importance to the honoring war dead. This is the 7th time that she missed the ceremony in her reign.

There were also four other occasions where she went on outbound visits to Ghana in 1961 and Brazil in 1968. Kenya in 1983 was another. South Africa was 1999. Because she was still pregnant with her youngest child, she wasn’t able to attend the 1963 and 1959 services.

– The General Synod

Also, the Queen will not be attending General Synod. Her absence from the Synod at Westminster Abbey service on Tuesday November 16 and at the opening session of Church House’s inauguration sessions will mean that she is not able to attend the Church of England headquarters at Church House. She is the Supreme Governor of Church of England, has strong Christian beliefs and is head of the General Synod which is the national church assembly.

Buckingham Palace claims that this is the first occasion the Queen will miss her General Synod five-yearly visit over 51 years. The Synod was replaced by the Church Assembly in 1970. In that year, she became the first sovereign of the nation to personally inaugurate and address this gathering. She has addressed the first session of every diocesan election five times since then. Because of the pandemic infected people, the 2020 election was postponed until this year.

Also commenting on her absence and future was Duncan Larcombe, former royal editor at the Sun, who told ITV’s Good Morning Britain: ‘Obviously nobody wants her to (step aside).

“It’s fascinating that next year will be her 70th birthday on the throne. I think she’s more popular now than ever for many years.

She’s 95, so I don’t think I would want to leave )…. She returned from Balmoral in September and was almost full of springs to perform all the royal engagements. But then, her health began to decline.

“It was cold then,” she said. She pulled out Remembrance Sunday for the first-time in 22 years. It is one of her most important events on the calendar. It’s obvious that everyone is playing down the severity of it.

Political commentator Dominique Samuels added: ‘I think the country needs her, and especially with regards to Prince Charles, I mean he’s never been really quite popular, has he?

“It’s William. It’s Kate. The Queen. Those are the people the country loves. According to my opinion, as well as a lot other comments, many people do not like Prince Charles.

They feel that he could take over the government and destroy the monarchy. While he is talking about politics and making major statements regarding climate change, he also speaks out on the subject of politics. He’s not as connected with British people as the Queen, I think. If the Queen leaves, I am genuinely worried about the country’s future.

According to royalists, this latest setback has caused many to think that the Queen will not be overworked if she feels well enough to take on more taxing duties.

According to a source, ‘I believe she won’t be out and about as often’. “She will nevertheless be visible and perform less taxing tasks within palace walls, but that is not to say she won’t.

“The entire video and virtual engagement development due to Covid have given palace aides choices they didn’t have before. There will be an increase in the pace.

A second source said that they were not sure the Queen would be able to undertake large-scale investitures once again.

The palace aides state that “nothing could be ruled out and nothing can been ruled in” but admit that certain key events, like handing out honors, might be reduced for her.

In November 2019, the Queen held her last investiture at Buckingham Palace, where she presented honours to over 65 individuals.

It is the exclusive right of The Queen to confer titles such as Knighthoods, MBEs OBEs and CBEs.

The Royal Family can hold events for more than 30 minutes, where the recipients receive their awards. To be granted knighthood, the Queen will need to use her father King George VI’s ceremonial heavy sword.

Prince Charles, Prince William, and Princess Anne are now increasingly playing this role.

In her 69 years of reign, the Queen missed six Cenotaph events. This was twice while she was pregnant and once when she was on tour for the Government.

Although it isn’t known what caused her injury, she had suffered back pain in the past and didn’t fall.

According to insiders, she intended to attend the Cenotaph ‘unambiguously’ and staff on Friday were working hard for her arrival. It is possible that she felt uncomfortable during the weekend.

She was not admitted to the hospital, and she is now resting at Windsor. Her doctors informed her that she would not be able to drive from Windsor, England to London in pain and for a prolonged period standing.

“To say she’s deeply disappointed that it was missed is an understatement,” said one.

“It is her most committed commitment each year.”

An aide to the monarch added that it was an incredibly regrettable timing. Nobody is more disappointed than Her Majesty.

She said that it was a deeply disappointing decision to not attend the engagement she considered one of the best of the year.

Yesterday, Prince Edward, Duke and Duchess of Kent and Britain’s Princess Alexandra stood on Whitehall’s central balcony.

The Mail has learned that her staff have one to two virtual audiences this week. This is part of her’rest-and-light duties’.

On October 19, the Queen was last in public. She hosted a Windsor reception for tech entrepreneurs, business leaders and government officials. Bill Gates (Microsoft billionaire) was one of those in attendance.

The two previous engagements, a visit at Westminster Abbey and to the Welsh parliament, had been the first occasions when the Queen used a walkingstick in public.

Sources suggested that this would likely become more frequent as she grew older.

On October 20, she abruptly cancelled her two-day Northern Ireland visit before she was scheduled to leave on the Medical Household’s advice.

Buckingham Palace stated that she was to be restrained and will remain at Windsor. But, the next day it emerged she had been taken into hospital for unspecified ‘preliminary investigation.

Staff even left her royal standard flying at Windsor, which is normally taken to indicate that she was present.

After the tests, she was admitted to hospital and then returned home by noon.

Later, it was announced that the princess would be forced to cancel any official visits to the castle. However, she can continue performing ‘light desk-based duties’ at this time.

Indeed, she has been seen smiling on numerous video calls and looking even more frail than ever before.

Following being forced from her flight to Scotland to cancel, she also recorded a short video message that will be broadcast to the leaders of Cop26.

But she felt well enough in November to fly to Sandringham by helicopter for a long weekend. There she was seen being chauffeured around by her staff.

Her own car was also spotted at Windsor.

However, this latest setback won’t help ease nation’s concern over the health of the monarch. Penny Junor, respected royal biographer said.

SATURDAY -- The Prince of Wales and Camilla led the family group, which also included Prince William, the Earl and Countess of Wessex, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, the Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and the Duke of Kent and Princess Alexandra at the Festival of Remembrance on Saturday night

SATURDAY — Camilla and Prince of Wales led the family group that included Prince William and Prince Edward of Wessex as well as Prince William and Prince Countess of Wessex. Prince William was also the Earl and Countess of Wessex and Prince and Princess Michael of Kent. Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence and Prince William were among the other members of the family. Princess Alexandra and Prince of Kent attended the Festival of Remembrance Saturday night.

Ms Junor stated that it was very disappointing for Queen Elizabeth because this event is one she loves to attend every year. It is an important aspect of her year’s calendar to remember the war dead.

“While the public will be upset and anxious to hear another setback, she should follow the advice and heal herself.”

“It is not surprising that she is 95 years of age,” she said. Because we are so used to her being out and about looking many years younger than her, I believe she has been fooled into believing she could go on with this pace for ever.

“Clearly she is unable to. Everyone has to accept that as they age, they may not be able to accomplish the things they once wanted.

It seemed to be a new stage in Queen Elizabeth’s reign. Ms Junor stated that the public would likely’see more’ of the Queen on video, but less in person.

She said, “They should keep their child warm at home. They shouldn’t expose her to infection.”
