One mum who is well-known for her TikTok tips has shared a quick recipe to restore softness and comfort in towels.

Carolina McCauley is a mother-of-2 from Perth. She uses laundry detergent, white vinegar, and baking soda to revive the texture of her towels.

Carolina began by washing one towel at the time, and added half a cup Baking soda to the washer.

She then adds an equal mix of laundry detergent and white vinegar to the washes

Next, she will add equal parts of laundry detergent as well as white vinegar to her wash. 

For a smoother texture, she suggests white vinegar in place of fabric softener. 

White vinegar is a natural product that has the ability to brighten and soften items without harsh chemicals. 

The towel is washed on medium heat in the washer and dried.  

This technique is known to instantly soften towels.

Finally she washes the towel on a medium temperature in the washing machine and continues the process on the remaining towels

Without using harmful chemicals, white vinegar has properties that brighten and soften materials without the use of harsh or dangerous chemicals.
