Despite constant health rumours about the Russian President, the director of the CIA stated that Vladimir Putin was ‘entirely to healthy.
Speaking at the Aspen Security Forum, Colorado, William Burns stated that his remarks were not a formal intelligence judgement but an individual opinion.
Last US official to speak with Putin was the spy chief. He said that Putin is a big believer of control, intimidation, and getting even.
He added: ‘He is stewing in a very combustible combination of grievance and ambition and insecurity.’
Putin, who has repeatedly been accused of being ill from Parkinson’s disease, cancer or other mysterious illness, has often struggled to stand during public appearances.

At the Aspen Security Forum (Colorado), William Burns stated that Putin’s health is too good to be true.
Putin is constantly being questioned by those who claim he has Parkinson’s, cancer or some other mystery illness.

Burns claimed that Putin’s mind directly influences his actions and decisions in Ukraine.
The forum was informed by him that Putin really believes his rhetoric. I have heard him repeatedly say privately, over the years: Ukraine isn’t a real country.
“He believed he could reach Kyiv within a matter of days.
He was rumored to be in decline after he took the famous picture of Putin slouching at a table with Sergey Shoigu, his defence minister earlier in war.
“He believes that Russia is his destiny and that he is Russia’s leader. He doesn’t believe that you can restore Russia to great power without controlling Ukraine’s choices.
“He thinks it’s his right, Russia’s right to rule Ukraine.”
Burns stated that Putin also misunderstood about Western support of Ukraine and had mistakenly assumed that the country would hold onto its strength over winter.
The spymaster also revealed that the US estimates that Russian casualties have so far reached around 15,000 killed and perhaps 45,000 wounded, adding that Ukraine has also endured significant casualties.
Five months after Putin declared an invasion, Russia’s neighbor is now occupied by its troops in the Donbas area of eastern Ukraine.

According to U.S. intelligence officials, the latest estimate would put the death toll at around 15,000 Russian troops and possibly three times the number of wounded. Burns explained that it was an extremely significant number of deaths.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov claimed Wednesday that Moscow’s military tasks in Ukraine had expanded beyond the Donbas. It was the strongest acknowledgment of its war objectives.
Burns claimed that for the moment, the Russian military’s concentrated forces in Donbas suggests they had learned hard lessons. This was after Moscow’s failure to attack Kyiv.

As Putin continues his bombardment of cities throughout Ukraine, a school has been completely destroyed by Russian bombing.
Burns explained that the Russian military made a retreat into a more peaceful war. They used their long-range firepower and advantages to stop and effectively eliminate Ukrainian targets. It also compensated for any manpower deficiencies they may still have.
Recent days saw the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky carry out Kyiv’s largest internal purge, accusing them of failing to eradicate Russian spy spies, and declaring scores of cases of treason.
It has given Ukraine extensive intelligence in order to guide battlefield decisions. This raises questions as to whether or not the CIA and Pentagon need to be worried about Russian intrusion.
Burns however seemed to be able to calm such worries.
Burns declared, “We believe that the partnerships we have built will be effective,”

However, he declined to speculate as to which plane might be flown.
Ukraine is using a mix of MiG planes and Cold War airplanes in its defense against Russian terrorists.
Brown stated that fighters made in the USA or Europe could be moved, including the Swedish Gripen fighter and the French Rafale or Eurofighter Typhoon.
He replied, “It will be something other than Russian. You can probably guess that.” It’s not something I know.
